The primary focus of this role is to research, coordinate, and execute programs related to assigned product categories. This includes pricing, promotions, sales, and merchandising plans that will increase sales, gross margins, and overall market share.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop, maintain, and execute annual product category plans to achieve sales margin objectives, in support of the overall marketing roadmap
- Manage the product portfolio by administering and maintaining item details such as pricing, features, and benefits in the corporate ERP system
- Conduct reporting on product category performance including sales margin performance, forecasts, and trends
- Analyze customer expectations via research, discussions with field associates, and participation in industry events (e.g. trade shows) and associations.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis to acquire benchmark pricing information and communicate findings to appropriate personnel, including field associates and Operations team members
- Manage vendor relations and negotiations within the assigned product category
- Travel to various meetings and conferences as required

- The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in commerce with a major in marketing, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience
- Previous experience in the automotive industry would be a considerable asset
- Strong working knowledge of marketing concepts with an emphasis on Product Management, Promotion, & Pricing
- Proven ability to propose, refine, and sell ideas/programs to company leaders
- Proven ability to effectively manage and execute projects from creation to implementation

The Product Marketing function will be the bridge between customer insight, product innovation, and go-to-market (GTM) excellence. As the first Senior Product Marketing Manager at Portless, you will own the narrative (and the numbers) for our core platform. Your work will set the tone for how thousands of brands understand, adopt, and champion Portless. This role will partner closely with Sale, Account Management, Customer Success, Product and Growth teams to drive adoption, revenue, and long-term success.

What You’ll Do
  • Craft & Own Positioning Translate the unique values and features of Portless, into differentiated messaging that resonates with Ecommerce operators and founders and is reflected in increased win-rates and engagement.

  • Proven ability to translate technical or operational complexity into engaging narratives and clear value props.
  • Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into crisp GTM fundamentals, including segmentation, buyer personas, messaging, and more.
  • Experience designing and executing integrated GTM campaigns—email, content, events, outbound—to measurable funnel outcomes.

We are experiencing significant expansion and are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Product Marketing Leader.Reporting to the Vice President, Insights and Customer Loyalty, the Product Marketing Leader will be responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy, toolkit development, and lifecycle management of Activates games and technology. This role ensures that new releases and ongoing updates are successfully marketed to partner locations, resulting in strong adoption, consistent execution, and a customer experience that reflects the Activate brand worldwide.


The Duties and Responsibilities:


Strategic Product Marketing

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for new game and technology launches, as well as ongoing product updates.
  • Collaborate with software and engineering teams to understand features, benefits, and differentiators.
  • Create compelling messaging and positioning tailored to both partner and customer audiences.
  • Leverage customer insights, segmentation, and partner feedback (in collaboration with Analytics) to refine positioning and inform innovation.
  • Ensure all product rollouts are designed for global consistency with flexibility for local adaptation across multiple countries.


Partner Enablement & Communications

  • Design and deliver marketing toolkits (e.g. launch guides, product briefs, promotional assets) ensuring clarity, usability, and scalability for partner execution.

The Qualifications:
