A Day in the Life:

The Consumer Engagement Marketing Team Leader (CEM Team Leader) is responsible for the management and execution of Monster Energy's brand portfolio sampling and local marketing initiatives within a defined market. This role reports to the Consumer Engagement Marketing Manager and is accountable for growing brand awareness and loyalty.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Collaborate with both Marketing & Sales departments; work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) & Events Manager in region/market to customize and execute events/programs aligned with the brands' sampling platforms.
  • Lead the CEM Street Team Merchandising Initiative in market; communicate monthly retail
    priorities, collaborate with RM's & TDM's, & coach CEM members in field to drive success.
  • Recruit, hire, train and manage part time brand ambassadors and maintain a fully operational team year round.
    Manage the daily operations of a 15 - 20 person team and coordinate sampling objectives.
  • Provide consistent direction, coaching and communication to maintain brand accuracy with Monster brand experiences and sampling.
    Manage & collaborate with REIGN Team Captain to drive REIGN brand awareness in market including securing on brand events, targeted samplings, & influencer program support.
  • Plan and manage all aspects of the event process: pre, during and post duties including: personnel, product delivery/distribution, transportation, hotel bookings, supplies, insurance (if applicable).
  • Actively participates in all regional events with ambassadors. Increase market knowledge and identify various groups and organizations within the targeted
    demographic in which to partner.
    Diligently prepare and provide tools for ambassadors to create superior customer interactions and flawless event executions
  • Adhere to deadlines for administrative tasks including, but not limited to, scheduling, reporting and recapping data for the region
  • Manage payroll and timesheets.
  • Maintain and manage company assets (Storage Facilities, Inventory, Vehicles, Equipment, POS, etc.)
  • Respond in a timely manner to management, staff, partners & other key stakeholders.

Who You Are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Bachelors degree in Marketing or any other Business related field
  • Between 3-5 years of experience in Event Marketing/Grassroots/Special Event/Promotions
  • Between 3-5 years of experience in team management experience

Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation; this position has an annual estimated salary of $45,450 - $60,600 CAD. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Why This Role Matters

The Product Marketing function will be the bridge between customer insight, product innovation, and go-to-market (GTM) excellence. As the first Senior Product Marketing Manager at Portless, you will own the narrative (and the numbers) for our core platform. Your work will set the tone for how thousands of brands understand, adopt, and champion Portless. This role will partner closely with Sale, Account Management, Customer Success, Product and Growth teams to drive adoption, revenue, and long-term success.

What You’ll Do
  • Craft & Own Positioning Translate the unique values and features of Portless, into differentiated messaging that resonates with Ecommerce operators and founders and is reflected in increased win-rates and engagement.
  • Lead Go-to-Market Plan and execute launches (features, geographies, partnerships), orchestrating Product, Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to hit adoption and revenue targets.
  • Enable Revenue Teams Build the playbooks, pitch decks, battle cards, and other enablement materials that give GTM teams the confidence to close and expand deals.
  • Drive Adoption & Expansion Design and optimize multi-channel campaigns - website, email, in-product, partner co-marketing - to lift activation, stickiness, and upsell.
  • Champion Market Intelligence Run ongoing win/loss analysis, competitive research, and pricing studies; feed insights back into product roadmap and GTM tactics.
  • Own Metrics & Reporting Set KPIs for feature adoption, attach-rate, and ARR contribution; track weekly, diagnose gaps, and course-correct with data.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years in product marketing for SaaS, logistics tech, or e-commerce enablement, with at least 2 launches that moved revenue needles.
  • You are a self-starter with a strong bias towards action who is able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to translate technical or operational complexity into engaging narratives and clear value props.
  • Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into crisp GTM fundamentals, including segmentation, buyer personas, messaging, and more.
  • Experience designing and executing integrated GTM campaigns—email, content, events, outbound—to measurable funnel outcomes.
  • Fluency in market and customer research methods (buyer interviews, surveys, data analysis, win/loss).
  • Stellar written and verbal communication that is concise, persuasive, and free of corporate fluff.
  • Low-ego collaboration style; you make engineers, designers, and sellers all feel heard and empowered.
Nice to Have
  • Deep experience with leveraging AI Agents and Flows in order to quickly validate ideas and scale impact.
  • Background in fulfillment, cross-border logistics, or supply-chain finance.
  • Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystems and the metrics that matter to DTC brands (Return rate, ROAS, WISMO, inventory turns).
  • Experience with pricing/packaging strategy or revenue operations tools (e.g., Gong, Hubspot).

About the Role:

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will lead our product marketing strategy and serve as the key liaison across Content, Marketing, Product, Operations, HR, and FP&A. Reporting to the VP of Product, you’ll drive monetization initiatives, craft compelling product communications, and use market insights to boost both player engagement and revenue.

What you'll do:

  • Own primary product revenue and retention metrics 
  • Define and implement a monetization strategy by establishing pricing frameworks, approving in-app purchase pricing, and mitigating revenue risks in collaboration with FP&A.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of promotional campaigns, including designing bundles, setting release cadences, and driving player reactivation efforts.
  • Manage integrated product communication initiatives by developing full-funnel marketing campaigns and ensuring cohesive, organization-wide messaging.
  • Leverage player feedback and market data to generate actionable insights, monitor performance metrics, and inform continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align cross-functional teams and initiatives with overall product and monetization objectives.
Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 5-7 years of experience in product marketing
  • Proven track record in developing pricing frameworks and monetization strategies
  • 2+ years of leadership experience demonstrated by owning key revenue and retention metrics
  • Experience designing and launching integrated marketing campaigns, including crafting promotional offers, bundles, and reactivation strategies
  • Evidence of effectively communicating strategic insights to executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated eagerness to integrate AI-driven tools into daily workflows, leveraging innovative technologies to enhance data analysis, campaign optimization, and strategic decision-making
  • Demonstrated expertise in data-driven decision-making and risk mitigation (e.g., managing revenue-related risks)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting cohesive product messaging
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from market research and data analysis
  • Experience setting and monitoring KPIs to evaluate campaign performance
  • Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Content, Marketing, Product, Operations, and FP&A
  • Adept at leveraging data analytics to inform pricing frameworks, promotional strategies, and market insights

  • Gaming and/or live operations background
  • History of managing real-time player engagement and in-game promotions
  • A creative and agile mindset, with proven success in pioneering innovative monetization and marketing strategies in fast-paced environments
