ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will work alongside our executive team and Account Managers to provide exceptional support in planning and coordinating travel arrangements, including flights and accommodations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and coordinate travel for EventConnects executive team and partners (flight, accommodations, rental cars, meeting space, etc.).
- Manage and coordinate any unique travel needs for our partners as requested by Account Managers(flight, accommodations, rental cars, meeting space, etc.).
- Create and organize detailed travel itineraries that align with partner and executive needs and schedules.
- Manage hotel bookings through hotel loyalty programs, ensuring redemption and utilization of reward points.
- Handle booking changes, cancellations, and any issues arising during travel.
- Provide high service and support to stakeholders and address any concerns or questions.
- Assist with confirming complimentary rooms weekly for Event Owners.
- Assist with travel needs associated with more extensive company functions (flights, hotels, etc.)
- Follow-up on post-travel needs & folios with hotels
- Other administrative duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tico Certification an assest
- A University or College graduate (Travel & Tourism program preferred)
- Knowledge of the hotel & airline industries
- Ability to multitask and be agile in a fast-paced environment
- Accepts and welcomes new challenges
- Accountable for being a team member and contributing to goals
- Friendly, professional, and confident nature both on the phone and through email communications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with others
- Past hotel experience is an asset

- Advise clients on travel options offered by our various partners;
- Network and promote new travel business and grow your repeat client base;
- Meet established monthly and yearly sales and revenue targets;
- Quickly determine specific client needs and source solutions using all tools available;
- Sell travel packages in all product categories including the preparation of complex itineraries using various booking platforms (Apollo; Sirev);
- Be alert to changing trends; customer needs and be able to adapt the services to the client’s needs even when difficult circumstances arise.
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience within a retail environment and consistently meet sales targets;
- Ability to influence through effective sales and prospecting techniques while building friendly and positive business relationships;
- Advanced communication skills combined with an outgoing and energetic nature;
- Experience leveraging social media and learning new software quickly;
- Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule, available to work outside of normal business hours to attend trade shows, conventions, and business events or to complete any agreed upon task;
- The willingness to obtain your TICO or OPC for agencies in QC certification if you do not already have it.

Job Description
Were looking for a bilingual Alphacam Sales Specialist to lead the growth of Alphacam across Canada. This is a pure sales role focused on building pipeline, closing deals, and reaching ambitious sales targets. Youll collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver compelling demos, develop targeted sales and marketing assets, and actively represent Planit Canada at industry events.
Youll be the go-to Alphacam sales leadresponsible for crafting strategies, engaging prospects, and delivering results.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with both prospects and existing clients.
Drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing a full sales cyclefrom initial outreach to signed contracts.
Collaborate with the sales team to plan and deliver impactful software demonstrations (virtual and in-person).
Develop and refine sales and marketing materials to support campaigns, presentations, and product positioning.
Prepare and present proposals and quotes, working alongside the team to ensure follow-ups and deal closure.
Negotiate and finalize contracts in alignment with client needs and business goals.
Represent Planit Canada at industry events, trade shows, and webinars.
Track sales activities, leads, and client interactions in Salesforce.
Collaborate across departmentsincluding sales, marketing, and supportto ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.
Meet or exceed an assigned sales quota.
Stay informed on market trends, competitive positioning, and new software capabilities.
Qualifications
Strong experience with CAM software and CNC machining processes.
Background in wood, metal, or stone manufacturing industries.
Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles (sales support, demos, consulting, etc.).
Ability to present technical solutions in a clear, engaging manner.
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with a high degree of autonomy.
Willingness and ability to travel across Canada (up to 5 days per month)
Nice to Have
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
Proficiency in Alphacam software.
Experience delivering webinars or presenting at industry events.
Experience with automation solutions and post-processor customization.
Knowledge of other CAD/CAM software.
Previous experience in a sales or technical consulting role.
