Taiga Motors is seeking a motivated and outgoing Sales & Corporate Strategy Intern to support our Sales and Marketing teams in driving customer engagement for Taigas electric personal watercraft and snowmobile. You'll assist with organizing and executing demo events, support strategic sales initiatives, and help ensure seamless internal operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with people, solving problems, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of demo events, trade shows, and partner activations across Canada and the US.
  • Represent Taiga as a brand ambassador at eventsguiding customers through product features, leading demos, and ensuring a professional and safe experience.
  • Support event logistics including transport, setup, and maintenance of equipment and promotional materials.
  • Capture, organize, and follow up on customer leads to support both direct-to-consumer and dealer sales channels.
  • Contribute to sales strategy and go-to-market initiatives through research, data analysis, and competitive benchmarking.

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will focus on forecasting, planning, product profitability analysis, regional profitability assessments, customer account profitability . The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical skills, deep financial acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing and service-based financial processes, especially in a global context.

This position will report to the Finance Manager, treasury, planning and risk management, and will work with the companies’ leadership team and investment partners improving all aspects of financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting & Financial Planning
  • Enhance and manage the monthly and annual forecasting process for revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather key data and assumptions for financial forecasts.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial forecasts to support business decisions at the product, regional, and account levels.
  • Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Profitability Analysis (Product, Region, and Account)
  • Analyze product profitability to ensure the company's products are priced and produced in a way that meets financial goals.
  • Conduct detailed regional profitability analyses, considering cost of goods sold (COGS), regional overhead, and operational expenses. Along with landed cost analysis for various geographies.
  • Perform account-level profitability assessments to ensure the right products are being sold to the right customers at the right margins.
  • Recommend adjustments to pricing, product mix, or sales strategy based on profitability analyses.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
  • Collaborate with the supply chain, procurement, sales, and operations teams to obtain key data inputs and insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support for strategic decision-making, highlighting opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Financial Reporting & Data Integrity
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data related to product costing, profitability, and forecasting.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support various business initiatives.
  • Continuously improve the financial forecasting and reporting process, identifying areas for automation or increased efficiency.

    Job Requirements:

    Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or related roles within manufacturing, services, or international businesses.
  • Strong experience in forecasting , profitability analysis , and financial modeling .
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting , standard costing systems , and product costing .
  • Experience in an international business environment and working with globally sourced products and parts is highly preferred.

    Position Summary

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business analysis and technical subject matter expertise, along with proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment. You will drive the alignment of business objectives with technology solutions, guide your team in effective communication with stakeholders, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software projects and customer engagements from the Business Analyst Team.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of business analysts and solution SMEs, providing guidance and mentorship to drive professional development and deliver high-quality analysis and project deliverables.
    • Continuously develop and advance the capabilities and strength of the BA and SME team, aligning the team with company growth strategies through improvement initiatives, team leadership and succession planning.
    • Develop and maintain short and longer resource demand and capacity models, effectively balancing project priorities, individual team member development plans, and business/client continuity.
    • Drive outcome based continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
    • Develop KPIs to measure team and project performance, continuously assessing and improving processes.
    • Champion change management efforts and BA best practices, ensuring the successful adoption of new software solutions and process improvements within the organization.
    • Oversee and ensure the quality of all requirements documentation, ensuring it meets the needs of internal teams (engineering, UX, sales) and external stakeholders.
    • Foster continuous collaboration between the professional services teams and product owners, ensuring that customer direction is aligned with product strategy and vision.
    • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives and product vision.
    • Act as the point of escalation for any complex business or technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews for your team, providing feedback, career development, and growth opportunities.
    • Work closely with leadership and product teams to develop and refine product and client strategiesbased on market trends, customer feedback, and internal data.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Managing Business Analysts as direct reports
    • 8+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with a track record of successfully managing teams
    • Knowledge of multiple delivery methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
    • Exceptional communication skills, high attention to detail with the ability to quickly gain stakeholders' trust. Effective influencer, adept at reconciling diverse viewpoints.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
    • High level of discretion with confidential matters.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced environment, preferably in the technology or supply chain sectors
    • Knowledge of multiple delivery methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
    • Experience with retail, wholesale and/or manufacturing industry IT systems will be a plus
    • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
