Job DescriptionReporting to the Team Lead, this position is responsible for fulfilling all customer service responsibilities and coordinate stability studies to support the Cosmetics Division laboratories. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the company’s current and future clients. Reflecting a positive and professional image of the company is a crucial requirement of this position. The incumbent will be experienced in handling a wide range of customer service and support-related tasks and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with company customers through phone, e-mail and in person;
- Maintain superior customer relations;
- Identify potential customers and sales opportunities
- Manage customer scheduling of projects;
- Assist in the development of annual sales forecasts, budget requirements, and sales plan of actions for the business unit;
- Provide the necessary planning, organization, direction, and control to meet or exceed the sales goals of the business unit;
- Provide detailed direction to management for achievement of marketing objectives in terms of specific actions;
- Coordinate project tracking and client management;
- Create new client accounts and link standard quotations from com LIMS;
- Retrieve and archive C of As;
- Invoice administration;
- Variety of administrative duties including filing, faxing, photocopying, on-line administration, shipping (including but not limited to sending lab supplied to clients);
- Creating memos;
- Verifying information on on-going projects;
- Handling other duties promoting the achievement of customer service and business goals including internal sales;
- Ensure regulatory compliance;
- Other tasks as requested by supervisor.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Science (preferably Chemistry or Microbiology), Commerce, and/or equivalent technical and business experience;
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3-5 years' customer service experience.
- Strong understanding of the Cosmetic Testing & Regulatory Consulting Industry, Canada and US, with good contacts within this sector;

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position will be working in an office environment within the lab. Moderate level of activity and some light lifting requirements to fulfill any required administrative duties such as filing and photocopying.
Shift work and overtime may be required, as well as working periodic weekends and/or evenings.

Job DescriptionReporting directly to the Business Unit Manager, the Sales Director in the Cosmetics Testing Laboratory will be responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships. They will coordinate with internal teams to manage testing projects, provide technical support, and ensure client satisfaction. The role involves developing and executing strategic marketing plans, analyzing sales performance, and meeting sales goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a solid understanding of laboratory testing, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities :
• Net Sales Growth by acquisition of new clients and expansion of existing clients (Sales
Incentive Plan)
• Achieve personal sales targets established by management;
• Identify potential customers and sales opportunities for the Cosmetic microbiology and chemistry testing business units;
• Participate actively in the development of strategic marketing plans, tactical marketing materials, and driving complex sale of newly-offered testing services;
• Assist in the development of annual sales forecasts, budget requirements, and sales plan of actions for the business unit;

• Initiate and maintain commercial contracts with customers, such as quotes, proposals, RFIs, etc., in accordance with sales plan and company guidelines;
• Identify, qualify and execute contracts on laboratory projects that are in agreement with our internal capabilities;
• Acquire and report information regarding developments in the marketplace, as well as competitive information;
• Liaise with all parties involved on issues of execution, special costs, planning of services offered and the acceptance of work;
• Deliver high quality presentations and maintain ongoing customer communication regarding the laboratory and services offered;
• Manage the creation and execution of work orders from customers;
• Maintain up-to-date customer information in the CRM;
• Maintain a professional profile and effective communication in the industry through regular field travel, conference, trade show and convention attendance, customer visits, and third party influence contacts.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the lab testing or cosmetics industry.
- Proven track record in sales growth and client acquisition.
- Ability to sell complex services like cosmetics testing.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Understanding of laboratory testing processes and industry standards.
- Ability to assist with technical questions and testing methods.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and clients.

Working Conditions: This position is primarily desk-based within a laboratory environment, with travel required for client meetings and business development.
