A day in the life
In Deiner Rolle als Process Improvement Manager steht die Optimierung der Logistik bei Amazon im Vordergrund. Du hilfst, die Sicherheit, Produktivität und Qualität zu verbessern. Im Rahmen Deiner Rolle überwachst und überprüfst Du Prozesse, um zu erkennen, wo Verbesserungen möglich sind. Außerdem empfiehlst Du Änderungen und nutzt Deine Fertigkeiten im Projekt- und Stakeholdermanagement, um neue Prozesse einzuführen.
Du arbeitest an einem unserer Standorte und bist hier für eine optimale Betriebseffizienz verantwortlich. Bei Bedarf führst Du auch Analysen an anderen lokalen oder landesweiten Standorten durch. Neben Deinen Aufgaben in Bezug auf Produktivität und Sicherheit hast Du auch die Möglichkeit, Dich mit unserem EU-Netzwerk über Best Practices und Ideen auszutauschen. About the team
Als Teil des Amazon-Customer-Excellence-System (ACES) Teams arbeiten wir an der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Logistik bei Amazon. Wir betreuen High-Impact-Initiativen und helfen bei der Entwicklung, Einführung und Beaufsichtigung verschiedener Logistikprojekte. Jüngste Beispiele sind unter anderem die Einführung und Erweiterung von Lieferungen mit mikromobilen Fahrzeugen (mit E-Lastenrädern oder zu Fuß) in ganz Europa sowie Lieferungen per Elektrofahrzeug. Mithilfe von datengestützten Tools erkennen wir, wie wir Prozesse verbessern oder effizienter machen und die im ganzen Unternehmen entstehenden Abfallmengen reduzieren können.
Unser Team unterstützt die Einführung neuer Programme und technologiebasierter Lösungen vor Ort in ganz Europa. Die Programme helfen bei der Erfüllung der Kundennachfrage und der Förderung kundenorientierter Innovationen. Wir setzen außerdem die anspruchsvollen Standards für unsere Schulungsteams und gestalten das Onboarding-Erlebnis für Partnerfirmen, Lieferpartner und Manager:innen so ansprechend wie möglich.

The Process Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for analyzing and enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), leading key initiatives under the continuous improvement framework. By fostering a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency, the CI Process Specialist will contribute significantly to our mission of achieving superior production performance and maintaining high standards of operational reliability.
This role is part of a team that supports plant operations to efficiently prioritize Safety, Quality, and Production through implementation of Manufacturing Excellence with TRACC systems and processes.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Developing processes to support plant operations. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Project Governance. Daily Problem Solving (DPS), Short-Interval Control procedures, troubleshooting guide refinement and organization, CIL, Centerlines, and QC auditing procedures and standards, Ops Readiness, and Skill Block progression/development, etc.
+ Lead Continuous Improvement activities under the continuous improvement framework, by supporting Project Governance activities. A primary function this role is coaching and participation with work teams on Project Governance activities. The individual will be a key player (and participant) in coaching and developing. Will be attending Tier 1, 2 and 3 meetings on a defined schedule, providing respective teams coaching. This position will sit on respective Implementation Task Force (ITF) and Site Steering Committee (SSC) teams. Will need to develop familiarity with and become an expert in using, training and navigating within the TRACC platform.
+ Support change management and Ops Readiness for the plant by learning processes, working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and developing best practices. May also lead improvement and capital projects.
+ Lead by example in supporting the site's safety principles and programs. Champion the site Quality strategy by documenting and maintaining process capability for product specifications. Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, fostering a culture of safety and quality throughout the facility.

**Summary**
Provides direct and indirect supervision to subordinate team leaders and professional employees performing diverse roles. **Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Facilitate and mentor improvement and/or transformation efforts. Provide subject matter expertise on an as needed basis. Coordinate training for CI for Employees, CI for Leadership, Lean Green Belt and Six Sigma Green Belt certifications, Value Stream Mapping
+ Participation in CI community, internally and externally
+ Sets and implements strategic direction in SCM by design, development, implementation and maintenance of SCM applications, processes and training across a site(s) to support business and customer requirements.
+ Leads establishment of IT infrastructure to support Celestica's / Customer's supply chain.
+ Ensures robust and cost effective IT infrastructure for SCM operations.
+ Manages, leads, and develops a group of SCM employees.
+ Establishes performance metrics and drives continuous improvement of SCM processes.
+ Develops and manages budgets for SCM applications including hardware, software, and maintenance in cooperation with local IT and SCM leadership.
+ Participates in setting strategic direction and provide support to region for SCM applications through participation in global SCM council. Works with other regions to ensure consistent SCM applications direction.
