Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2-4 years of experience with technical writing
- Agency experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal and the ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to multitask and complete deadlines in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Our direct client is seeking a Content Editor to join their team. The main function of the Editor is to proofread and edit test materials including items, manuscripts, typeset copy, and printers' proofs for style and correctness in meeting program specifications.
Job Title: Content Editor
Duration: 6 Months Contract with possibility of extension
Hybrid: In office every Wed and every 3rd Friday of the month
Location: 161 Bay 10th Floor, Toronto
Pay Rate: $55/hr INC or $47/hr on T4
Must haves:
• 5+ years of experience - Content Editor /Content Design/UX Writing/Editorial Environment
• Excellent working knowledge of CP Style
• Experience writing for web and/or digital properties
Job Responsibilities:
• The main function of the Editor is to proofread and edit test materials including items, manuscripts, typeset copy, and printers' proofs for style and correctness in meeting program specifications.
• Responsible for editing, rewriting, and authenticating user manuals, application papers, product description, data sheets, and specification books.
• Receives text from internal sources and rewrites documentation in a clear and concise style.
• Improves editorial and visual standards for documents and recommends new designs, layouts and procedures as needed.
• Edits, writes and/or rewrites articles, publications, presentations, and other materials to communicate clearly and effectively research findings, technical developments, and other news and information.
