About the RoleWe're looking for a Creative Marketing & User Acquisition Specialist who lives and breathes viral video content and data-driven experimentation . If you have a deep understanding of what makes people stop scrolling, engage, and install this role is for you.
Your mission will be to ideate, create, and iterate on thumb-stopping video ads that drive millions of installs across platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat. You'll have the freedom to experiment, analyze, and optimize ad performance in real-time , leveraging data and creativity to craft videos that truly resonate.
What You'll doCreate High-Performing Video Ads
Develop engaging, attention-grabbing short-form videos for mobile game marketing, optimized for performance across different ad platforms.
Utilize tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, or other video editing software to refine and enhance creatives with motion graphics, effects, and sound design.
Test & Optimize for Maximum Impact
Rapidly iterate on video concepts , A/B testing different styles, hooks, formats, and storytelling techniques to maximize CTR, CPI, and ROAS.
Leverage AI tools and data-driven insights to tweak creatives for higher engagement and conversion rates.
Analyze Performance & Adapt
Track key performance metrics (views, engagement, retention, installs) and use insights to double down on winning strategies while killing underperforming ones.
Work closely with the UA team to ensure creatives align with audience targeting and ad spend efficiency.
Stay Ahead of Trends & Virality
Obsess over viral content trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Conduct competitor research to identify trends and creative strategies that can be adapted to our ads.
Think outside the boxdon't just follow trends, create them.
What You BringVideo-Editing & Production Expertise
Strong hands-on skills with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools for editing, sound design, and animation.
Bonus points if you've worked with Figma for ad concepting or have experience with AI-powered editing tools.
Creativity with a Performance-Driven Mindset
A strong instinct for what makes content go viral from the first frame's hook to the pacing, effects, and emotional triggers.
A portfolio of highly engaging digital video ads or short-form content (TikTok/Reels/Ads that performed well).
Data-Driven Decision Making
Experience running A/B tests on ad creatives and making optimization decisions based on CTR, CPI, and ROAS.
Comfort working with ad dashboards, analytics, and marketing performance data.
Agility & Experimentation
Ability to quickly prototype and test new video concepts at scale.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, experimental environment where rapid iteration is key.

About the Role:
This is not your average admin role. It’s a high-impact position that keeps our Executive Team running smoothly while amplifying our brand voice internally and externally. You’ll streamline calendars, unblock workflows, and serve as a key connector across teams, all while contributing to brand content that reflects who we are as a company.
You’ll get hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a live operations company—executive ops, recruiting, brand, and culture—with mentorship from senior leaders and room to grow into marketing, operations, or strategy.
Executive Partnership
- Coordinate complex calendars, travel logistics, and meeting materials for our Executive Team
- Compile briefing decks and concise summaries for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage select personal projects and concierge-style tasks for CEO to free up bandwidth
- Act as gatekeeper for follow-ups and confidential information, resolving scheduling conflicts proactively
- Anticipate needs and surface potential bottlenecks before they become problems
Brand Marketing & Content
- Maintain and execute the content calendar: draft, schedule, and publish posts across social media properties
- Collaborate with design partners to brief on visuals and ensure brand consistency
- Track engagement metrics, prepare weekly highlights, and recommend optimizations
Special Projects & Media Management
- Contribute to cross-functional projects, including marketing asset production, brand campaigns, and liveops initiatives
- Assist with data organization, basic reporting, and AI-powered research to support content development and strategy
- Support light production workflows such as uploading assets, coordinating edits, formatting video content, and preparing digital media for distribution
Office & Recruiting Operations
- Keep our Toronto HQ guest-ready: welcome visitors, liaise with building management, maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Coordinate logistics for internal events and team socials from concept through on-site support
- Partner with People & Culture on interview scheduling, candidate communications, and onboarding logistics
Requirements
You Have:
- A demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities with speed and accuracy
- Sharp problem-solving instincts—you anticipate needs, navigate ambiguity with confidence, and find creative solutions before others even notice there’s an issue
- Strong writing and communication skills with a clear sense of tone, audience, and brand
- In-office availability (5 days/week) and a hands-on mindset that thrives in real-time collaboration and fast-paced execution
- A willingness to occasionally support personal errands or off-site coordination outside regular working hours
- A growth mindset and the ambition to learn across functions
- Meticulous organizational skills and a love of building structure where there isn’t any

Job Summary:
We're seeking a Creative Strategist to join our performance marketing agency that specializes in paid social media advertising for e-commerce brands. Our crew is tight-knit yet spread across Canada, with access to offices in Edmonton, Calgary and Toronto.
As a Creative Strategist you will lead the development of data-driven briefs for branded ads and User Generated Content UGC with the support of your team. Your role will include idea generation, crafting hooks and headlines, creative analysis, and conducting initial and ongoing research for multiple clients. You will collaborate closely with creative strategists, designers, editors, and media buyers to develop effective advertising strategies, and foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team.
You'll be responsible for analysing creative performance in collaboration with other departments through regular meetings and reports. Your ability to blend brand & design considerations with performance objectives will be key.
You will also contribute to client communications, creative pipeline planning and provide support to senior strategists as needed, while continuously staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop creative briefs for multiple client brands that provide direction for designers and editors including idea generation, hook & headline writing that align with business goals
- Plan marketing calendars and creative pipelines to identify strategic priorities for advertising and ensure a healthy quota of creative deliverables
- Collaborate with clients and team to understand brand goals, vision and voice
- Engage with clients and team in purposeful and collaborative conversations and pitching new creative hypotheses, concepts and tests.
- Managing and providing QA to creative production team, with support from senior team members
- Regularly analyzing creative performance in collaboration with other departments through biweekly meetings, testing dashboards and feeding into creative insights for monthly reports
- Collaborate with other departments to find winning strategies
- Assist the UGC Manager with UGC projects, through ideation and briefing production team on UGC edits.
Qualifications:
- Experience applying the principles of creative strategy, preferably in an agency setting, either as a strategist, media buyer or designer/editor
- Experience with direct-to-consumer, e-commerce brands
- Foundational understanding of DTC principles, strategies and techniques that drive performance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Hungry for new ideas and the perspective of others.
- Experience with creative analysis in ads managers/Motion/TripleWhale, NorthBeam, Google Data Studio is a bonus
- Strong knowledge of social media advertising best practices
- Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
- Proven track record of developing high-converting social ads
- Understanding the subtle art of balancing brand and performance
