We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cybersecurity Specialist with expertise in digital forensics and incident response.

This is a hybrid position that requires commuting to our Toronto office three days a week.



Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cyber incident response and forensic playbooks, runbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct digital forensic investigations, collecting and preserving digital evidence.
  • Collaborate with SOC analysts and IT teams to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis for cyber incidents and breaches.
  • Conduct malware analysis and sandboxing.
  • Create detailed forensic and incident reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead cyber security projects
  • Contribute to penetration test projects
  • Engage with clints and lead cyber incident response activities
  • Contribute to cyber risk assessments and security awareness programs.
  • Manage cyber security related platforms
  • Train team members to perform digital forensics and incident response

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • 2+ years of experience in digital forensics and incident response
  • Proven experience in conducting digital forensic investigations and presenting findings.
  • Proficiency with forensic tools and software (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways).
  • Expertise in analyzing Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
  • Familiarity with at least one SIEM and one EDR solution (e.g., QRadar, Splunk, SecOps, CrowdStrike, Defender, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating and interpreting digital evidence.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write detailed reports.
  • Capability to work collaboratively with legal professionals and law enforcement.
  • Familiar with penetration testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer forensics, computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to participate in after hours on-call shifts.
  • Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • High ethical and professional standards.

Good to Have:

  • Certifications such as Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Experience in cyber risk assessment/management.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.).

What you will be doing :

The primary focus for the Manager, IT Risk – Data Protection is to manage Data Risk by providing oversight and advisory services to Tangerine Technology Groups and business lines regarding data protection (DP) control environment based on BNS Data Protection Framework, considering industry best practices and regulatory developments. The role will assist in ensuring structured and unstructured data protection controls are effective, and risks are mitigated accordingly. This individual will report directly to the Director, Technology & Cyber Risk.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will :

  • Maintain the compliance oversight of Scotiabank’s security and risk management framework, policies, and standards for managing risks to its information assets and systems.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and report on material IT risks and aligned business areas. This will require working with various Risk owners and other control function groups.
  • Liaise with Scotiabank counterparts to identify evolving requirements.
  • Monitor evolving industry best practices, regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Provide 1st Line of Defence functions with ongoing guidance to support the implementation of, and compliance with established IT and security requirements.
  • Perform various types of data analysis work and prepare monthly / quarterly reporting.
  • Provide directions to Tangerine’s functional teams to build their capability to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks associated with their use of information and IT systems.
  • Responsible for planning and delivering compliance with BNS Data Protection Framework. Conduct control testing and track remediation.
  • Collaborate with management to develop solutions to improve compliance with Data Protection Controls.
  • Leads Data Protection related projects that are multi-jurisdictional in scope and / or involve multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Support implementation of a strong Data Protection culture in partnership with stakeholders across various business lines.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes, templates and guidance documentation related to the activities of the role as needed, striving for efficiency and streamlining.
  • Collaborates with multiple technology teams including infrastructure and business teams to assess control and remediation actions on the operating environment and ongoing projects.
  • Analyze and respond to risk assessment requests assigned to Technology Risk Team.
  • Build positive culture for the management of IT and security risks. Deliver ongoing counsel to risk owners to create IT risk awareness.

IT Risk & Compliance Monitoring

  • Establish monthly reporting of KPI dashboard.
  • Maintain Tangerine’s IT KPIs and KRIs within risk appetite for the IT domains assigned.
  • Facilitate and contribute to the preparation of management reporting relating to the responsibilities within the role.
  • Lead engagement with Tangerine’s 2nd and 3rd Line of Defense function to influence the focus, scope, and criteria for the testing of the Bank’s IT risk capabilities.
  • On-going monitor and track issues raised by Internal Audit, assist risk owners to ensure remediation is completed within pre-defined timelines and risk is addressed appropriately.

This will include participating in the design, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting of Network Security technologies such as NGFW, IPS/IDS, NAC, LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and Cloud networking technologies within Information Technology.



Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting cloud network and security infrastructure solutions, including hybrid cloud connectivity, firewalls, load balancers, IPSEC VPN, etc.
  • Responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco Firepower and Juniper firewalls.
  • Responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting IP Networking. Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), Segment Routing, QoS, IP VPN, VPLS, EVPN, VxLAN, NAT, etc.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, isolate and correct service-affecting issues on the network in areas including but not limited to: routing protocols, routers, switches, firewall administration, MPLS, BGP, VPN, load balancing.
  • Responsible for building, interconnecting, and supporting networks with one of the cloud providers - Regions and Availability Zones. Including working knowledge and hands-on experience of VPC connectivity, Transit Gateway, Direct link/connect methodologies.
  • Conduct research, analyze, recommend, implement, troubleshoot for SDWAN infrastructure (implementation and troubleshooting) (Fortinet and Zscaler products)
  • Perform the execution of day-to-day networking operations to guarantee network availability, stability, and serviceability with the least amount of downtime possible.
  • Design, maintain the network infrastructure services, including the installation, architecture, design, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network and security software and hardware in a mixed vendor environment.
  • Review assigned service requests daily, follow up and provide status updates to clients; effectively maintain service delivery status and backlog.
  • Lead the technical delivery of projects, including design, configuration, and testing of technical solutions for enterprise-wide projects.
  • Work with vendors, customers, partners, providers, and peer technical staff on implementation, optimization, and security of Network and Security system. This includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting infrastructure and services including routers, switches, access points, load balancers in both an on -premises environment and an Cloud environment, layer 7 firewalls, remote access solutions and site connectivity
  • Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new software, hardware, tools, systems, and processes to increase efficiency, lower total cost of ownership, and improve performance.
  • Perform infrastructure maintenance and upgrades to client environments.
  • Provide incident management and support to the critical issues escalated by Network Security Services Operations, including internal and external communications, team coordination of repair and then root cause analysis efforts.
  • Create and review the documentation of the current Network Architecture and develop Network solutions to enhance existing services.
  • Perform infrastructure maintenance and upgrades to client environments.
  • Perform technical assessments using industry standard toolsets for network, server, and security architectures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and be able to respond to critical or high severity alerts after hours and follow documented steps to address such issues.
  • Participate with on demand after hours change implementation for new initiatives and or in support of incident management.

You will join an exciting and high growth business unit with Palo Alto Networks positioning the industry’s most comprehensive SASE security platform, with the industry’s broadest security and compliance coverage for applications used by your hybrid workforce, regardless of whether they are at home, on the go, or in the office.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a territory focusing on Major, Strategic, and Enterprise Accounts. Working closely with Palo Alto business partners and driving sales for our Enterprise Browser security solution, into new and existing customers. It is expected that you deliver or exceed your sales targets in both new business and renewals for ACV and TCV bookings. The role expects you to define your territory, strategies and then lead local execution and in alignment to company strategies and tactics within the Prisma SASE organization. 

Your Impact

  • Win new logos, renew existing customer and expand business within your territory
  • Achieve ACV sales quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Present regular/accurate forecasting for review
  • Track and report on all opportunities, pipeline, and bookings to provide forecast reports to region management
  • Establish relationships and engage with the local reseller and alliance partners on sales programs and joint activities
  • Develop, share and implement standard methodologies and account strategies to increase our sales penetration of Enterprise Browser into our top accounts
  • Engage with customers to identify and progress opportunities whilst delivering subject matter expertise on Enterprise Browser solutions
  • Qualify and progress leads and opportunities through the sales cycle to closure
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of Enterprise Browser and other browser technologies as well as the competitive position of the company
  • Conduct consistent training and communications for the sales and channel teams as well as joint engagement within the wider organization
  • Contribute to the larger Palo Alto Network’s Prisma SASE strategy by providing regional specific intelligence and reporting
  • Apply subject matter expertise in training, QBRs, enablement, and other engagement activities
  • Gather “Voice of Customer” and competitive intelligence and share with theater and global Prisma SASE organization

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 4+ years' experience exceeding sales quota as Account Manager, or Territory Account Manager for a multinational company
  • Sales excellence - ability to demonstrate planning, strategy, qualification and execution
  • Prior experience selling SAAS or Cybersecurity network solutions
  • Existing relationships within the region, including top accounts and reseller partners
  • Excellent communication skills including strong verbal and written skills and proven presentation skills being able to articulate complex topics
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $256000 - $352000/YR. What will you be doing?

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Palo Alto firewalls across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, leveraging deep knowledge of App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, and Wildfire.
  • Implement and manage Cloudflare security services, including WAF rule sets, DDoS protection, bot management, and SSL/TLS encryption.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Intermediate/Senior Network Engineer to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade network infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments. You will play a key role in ensuring network performance, security, and scalability, while contributing to the delivery of reliable and efficient hybrid connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage highly available, secure, and scalable network architectures, including WAN, LAN, and cloud networking (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet).
  • Configure and support network appliances such as firewalls, routers, switches, and VPN concentrators.
  • Automate network provisioning and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python-based scripts.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize traffic flow and reliability.

Required Qualifications


  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and administration (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience managing networking infrastructure in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong experience with network automation and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, NAT, and load balancing.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN, cloud networking (e.g., Azure VNet, AWS VPC), and virtual network appliances is a strong plus.
  • Experience with network monitoring and logging tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or similar) is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Certifications in one or more of the following areas: - Cisco CCNP and/or CCIE - F5 (F5-CA/LTM/GTM/APM) - Aruba - Palo Alto Network (Certified Network Security Engineer) - ISC (CCSP or CISSP) - Fortinet Product line Juniper Vmware NSX
  • Experience with network configuration management and version control tools (e.g., Ansible, Git).
  • Familiarity with automation and orchestration in network environments.
