About the Role
This position is a member of the Corporate Cybersecurity & Technology Risk Team reporting to the Senior Analyst, Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence. This role mitigates risk across Brookfield Renewable portfolio companies by researching emerging threat patterns, developing preventive measures, advising on security enhancements, and administering cross-portfolio cybersecurity services. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the threat landscape, cybersecurity trends, and advanced persistent threats.
Key Responsibilities
You will work collaboratively with internal teams and portfolio company cybersecurity personnel to:
- Execute and monitor monthly vulnerability scans across IT and OT environments, track and report on remediation progress.
- Collect, analyze, and report phishing simulation and security awareness metrics.
- Conduct threat intelligence research using tools such as Dark Owl, OpenCTI, and Shodan; produce actionable intelligence reports.
- Analyze, advise on, and draft lessons learned from cyber incidents that occur.
- Administer key Corporate Cybersecurity & Technology Risk systems.
- Test and evaluate new as well as existing technologies for process improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of new portfolio-wide cybersecurity tools and controls.
- Prepare threat intelligence memos to assist in the cyber due diligence of target acquisitions
- Aid other team members within Cybersecurity & Technology Risk as required.
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Information Technology or related discipline.
- Industry certification is considered an asset (CISSP, CompTIA Security +, CEH, etc.).
- 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity including but not limited to vulnerability management, security awareness and identity access management systems will be considered an asset.
- 1-2 years’ experience with operational technologies (OT) and Cybersecurity Risk Management considered an asset.
- Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices (NIST CSF, ISO27001, etc.) including incident management & response processes.
- Experience with the following or similar tools is considered an asset: Rapid 7, Dark owl, Shodan, Knowbe4.
- Demonstrated experience in completing cybersecurity-related projects will be regarded as an asset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to deliver quality and accurate management reporting with supporting documentation.
- Strong planning, prioritizing, and time management skills to undertake and manage multiple tasks at once and work under deadlines.

Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our team during an active breach incident. The role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and contextualizing threat data to provide actionable intelligence that guides defensive and response efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor internal and external threat intelligence feeds and sources for relevant indicators of compromise (IOCs) and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Analyze attacker behavior and link threat data to ongoing incidents.
- Collaborate with Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, and Security teams to share intelligence.
- Maintain threat intelligence platforms and contribute to reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Experience working with threat intelligence tools (MISP, Recorded Future, Anomali, or similar).

**Position Overview**
As a Senior Threat Intelligence Engineer, you will support the daily operations of our threat intelligence program. You will collaborate on developing, implementing, and maintaining our threat intelligence platform, tools, capabilities, and reporting mechanisms. This is a hands-on technical role that combines security engineering with intelligence collection. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in automating complex processes and a strong ability to analyze collected data. Your expertise will be essential in driving initiatives to enhance collection efficiency, thereby producing the necessary intel products to meet intelligence requirements and requests for information. This role will directly support the Threat Intelligence, Trusted Insider, Incident Response, Data Engineering, and Threat Hunting teams.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work closely with the intelligence analysts to understand the intelligence requirements and determine the most effective means of collecting the required information
+ Prioritize collection efforts, assess the validity/reliability of sources, and ensure proper dissemination of collected information to intelligence analysts
+ Work closely with intelligence analysts to maintain the Collection Requirements framework. Work with intelligence analysts and intelligence vendors to obtain the relevant information to feed into the Collection Requirement framework
+ Lead the scripting and automation efforts for collections management and stakeholderinteraction with produced threat intelligence or synthesized information
+ Implement and manage API connections for various data sources to streamline intelligence collection and analysis
+ Assist with the development, management and production of Intelligence Requirements. Utilize structure analysis techniques to develop tailored intelligence products and provide threat assessments to Autodesk decision makers
+ Use alternate personas to capture information in line with the Collection Requirements, SoPs and Operational Security
+ Continuously evaluate and improve threat intelligence processes and tools to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
+ Assist the intelligence analysts with developing intelligence products.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Experience with pythonscripting, APIs, and automating tasks, such as data collection for Intelligence Requirements
+ Exhibit proficiency in conducting intelligence collection with operational security measures. This includes ensuring the anonymity, confidentiality, and security of collected data and sources' protection during intelligence collection efforts
+ Advanced knowledge of intelligence operations (Intelligence Requirement Framework, intelligence estimates, WEP wording, ATT&CK, ACH, 5W|2H, I&W, COAs)
+ Excellent communication and collaborative skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
+ Capability to develop metrics to quantify threat intelligence improvements over time, providing measurable insights into program effectiveness
+ At least 2 years of vendor management; determine required capabilities and seek out vendors to fulfill collection requirements. A dedicated enterprise vendor management team will assist with RFPs, renewals, and contract negotiations

As a **Cybersecurity Student** and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
+ Investigates and remediates cybersecurity events, incidents, and threats
+ Security Incident Escalations
+ Assists with the development and maintenance of information security policies, procedures, and standards.
+ Assists with vendor risk assessments on technology projects, initiatives, and infrastructure by working closely with stakeholders.
+ Assists with vulnerability management processes, collaborating with stakeholders on remediation plans to resolve identified risks.
+ Identifies and documents existing security controls.
+ Supports Information security compliance deliverables.
+ Participates in the security incident response processes.
+ Assists with disaster recovery and business continuity planning and processes.
+ Acts as point of contact for internal inquiries regarding information security.
+ Assists in the development and maintenance of cyber security metrics and Key Performance Indicators to demonstrate the progress and value proposition of cyber security.

+ Bachelor's degree, Diploma, or working towards post-secondary education in in Business, Computer Science, Information technology, Cybersecurity, or related degree.
