We are currently seeking for a Lead, Data Operations to join the Enterprise Data team in the Wealth Technology Group at CI Wealth. The Wealth Data team supports the organization through data management, warehousing and consolidation, governance, reporting, and business analytics and insights. The successful candidate will lead the data operations practice and oversee the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality data services, enabling data-driven strategies across the organization. You will optimize data workflows, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and drive continuous improvements in data quality and accessibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and project teams to streamline data pipelines and support reporting and business intelligence needs.
  • Oversee data acquisition, validation, integration, and enrichment processes to maintain data readiness, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines and act as the gatekeeper for scheduled and ad-hoc releases.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
  • Implement automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity throughout its lifecycle.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders to ensure service quality and data compliance.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience in data operations, with experiences in a lead role, and a strong focus on data management, data quality, and governance.

Education/Training

  • Post-secondary degree in a quantitative discipline.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of data pipeline architecture, modern data stack architecture, and cloud-based platforms, including AWS, Snowflake, and other cloud-native solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of data operations framework and models  
  • Working knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting CI/CD and data pipelines.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining data quality and validation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of observability and data lineage implementation to ensure pipeline transparency and monitoring.
  • Knowledge and experience with the following tools and concept:
    • Workflow orchestration tools – CRON, Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions
    • CI/CD pipelines – Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform, Flyway
    • Data governance tools and frameworks – Collibra, Atlan, Alation
    • Database systems – Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Sybase, MySQL
    • Data extraction – SQL, Python, API invocation, CDC
    • Data storage repositories – SFTP, AWS S3
    • ETL/ ELT tools and workflow – Snowpipe, PySpark, AWS Glue, EMR, AWS Lambda, SCD
  • A strong analytical mindset and sophisticated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry is an asset.

Your role:

The Data Center Operations Specialist provides technical support of Global Relay's mission critical data center facilities, server environments and related infrastructure. This includes specification, installation, and testing of server and storage systems and peripherals within established standards, as well as development and maintenance of data center support systems such as automated system provisioning, asset tracking, space planning, cable management, equipment monitoring and maintenance. Your job:

  • Assist operations staff with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of servers, storage systems, peripheral equipment and software.
  • Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computer, mechanical and electrical equipment and related software.
  • Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client/server environment.
  • Create and maintain a well-organized list of inventory of all equipment and parts, as well as software licenses and maintenance agreements.

  • Escort and supervise mechanical and electrical contractors when performing maintenance and repair work to ensure work does not jeopardize system availability.
  • Assist in periodic security reviews and audits to ensure facility is always secure.
  • Perform rotating shift coverage to meet all support needs.
  • Will be involved in shift work, including night shifts and emergency coverage.
  • On-call coverage to provide additional support outside of regular business hours.

About you:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science and/or experience in supporting servers and data center needs within a mission critical environment.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Windows server and Linux environments as well as some Solaris knowledge an asset.

Job Summary
Troubleshoots and installs advanced circuits, and performs custom installations.

Responsibilities
Installations

  • Racks and stacks customer equipment

  • Reads installation plans (Visio Drawings / Spreadsheets) and implements installation accordingly

  • Installs circuits requiring advanced fiber terminations


Queue Management

  • Determines work priorities from the Oracle queue and ensures adherence to all commit times


Testing/Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoots switched / multiplexed / media converted circuits; escalates to, and works with networking group, as needed.

  • Works with customers to troubleshoot issues


Cross Connects

  • Installs/tests/modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures proper cable management of: coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connects

  • Installs and tests advanced cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)


Documentation/Reporting

  • Maintains detailed written records of all work activity


Projects

  • Designs and leads cage / infrastructure modification projects


Training

  • Completes all assigned training in a timely manner


Customer Management

  • Supports customer satisfaction through timely and precise order execution


Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience

  • High School Diploma

  • BERT and SONET test equipment

DarkVision, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Data Analysis Team Lead to join our fast growing In-line (pipeline) Inspection team in North Vancouver, BC . DarkVision leverages cutting-edge proprietary acoustic imaging technology to deliver industry leading asset inspection services, capable of detecting defects as small as a few millimeters. As an ILI (In-Line Inspection) Data Team Lead, you will manage a team of Data Analysts to produce accurate inspection reports critical to the safe operation of oil and gas pipelines.

The ideal candidate has experience leading technical teams to deliver mission-critical results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You bring a passion for operational excellence, process optimization, and challenging the status quo. Join our innovative team - comprising experts in machine vision, imaging, computer graphics, and data analytics - as we continue building the world's most advanced platform for industrial imaging and pipeline diagnostics.

Our Team

Our Data Analysts utilize 3D data visualization software and human-in-the-loop machine learning processes to meticulously analyze ultrasound datasets. The outputs of these analyses result in critical insights that enable our clients to make data-informed decisions on the operations and maintenance of multi-million-dollar infrastructure assets.

What You Will Do

  • Learn the delivery standards and workflow processes for your assigned ILI product line
  • Regularly check in with team members to assess capacity and remove roadblocks or inefficiencies
  • Through frequent 1:1 meetings, track team members' progression in their role, deliver constructive feedback, and ensure they receive proper recognition for their work while building a roadmap for their career development
  • Facilitate communication between your team and other teams and upper management
  • Ensure employees are aligned with the company vision, and that the goals and direction of the team help drive achievement of the vision
  • Facilitate the improvement of workflow procedures and best practices; seek out new solutions, seek feedback, and investigate and implement improvement opportunities
  • Review projects assigned to Analysts on your team; you are responsible for the content and delivery of projects
  • Partner with Recruiting and other Team Leads to recruit and evaluate candidates; a high volume of growth and hiring is expected
  • Make informed recommendations for hiring, raises/promotions, performance management, and further training
  • Develop new and improve existing processes and standards
  • Set project deadlines, assign project leads, and manage follow-up requests
  • Forecast team capacity vs. projected projects, offering transparency to stakeholders

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • At least 2 years of engineering or science study at university, college, or technical school
  • Experience managing a team producing client deliverables (e.g. reports, analysis)
  • Experience managing early to mid-career individuals
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry (e.g. ILI, pipeline or piping integrity, NDE/NDT, well integrity, well logging) or industrial asset inspection services
  • Experience managing teams with at least 5 team members
  • Experience in rapidly scaling an operation or team
  • Able to disseminate complex information and generate pragmatic solutions
  • Able to assess and adjust work processes to meet scaling requirements; delegate and prioritize work effectively among the team

For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $110,000 CAD per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
