About the job:
Research and analyze state-of-the-art AI data security technologies applicable to scenarios such as consumer applications and cloud environments, covering all stages of AI training and inference, including traditional AI and large language models(LLMs) scenarios.
Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of AI systems, and guard against misuse.
Design and implement technology prototypes for validating and demonstrating their feasibility, and support their integration into data centers, network equipment or consumer-facing devices.
Write design documentation and publish research results in well-known conferences.
Lead industry analysis and insights, and plan new features and strategic directions.

We are currently seeking a Senior Fund Data Analyst to join our Portfolio Operations team. In this role, the successful candidate is expected to support Data for CI’s order management and investment book of record systems and to assist in maintaining accurate and complete data used for on-going trading, performance and risk reporting requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Supporting day-to-day Data operational activities and acting as the point of escalation contact for the Portfolio Managers, Traders, Performance/Attribution and Risk reporting teams.
- Providing operational and subject matter expertise across multiple data elements including Fixed Income, Equity and Derivatives
- Responsible for the maintenance of security master file, reference data, pricing and market data; consolidating multiple external data sources, comparing them and then creating a single version of security master and reference data.
- Handle complex issues and inquiries for all Data Challenge Processes, including internal pricing methodology, vendor prices, custodian prices and Reference Data.
- Monitor changes or additions to fund list and coordinate corresponding updates to the Investment System.
- Ensure all internal and custodian compliance procedures are adhered to.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with IT on testing and implementation efforts.
- Document business requirements that require any changes to the system.
- Document changes in current process/new process and provide team members with respective training
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelors’ degree related to finance/business/mathematics
- 5+ years of security master and pricing experience, or in a role supporting front office trading
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Charles River Order Management system and Bloomberg Data.
- Requires experience with Exchange and OTC Derivative valuations
- Proficient in programing and data management; Python, SQL, VBA
- Experience with Bloomberg Port and FactSet would be an asset
- Excellent communication and listening skills to understand business needs and translate those needs into workable solutions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong logic and analytical skills to clearly identify key issues
- Effective time-management and ability to learn, prioritize, and execute quickly
- CFA/FRM certification would be a plus

- Analyze the potential impact of new threats and communicate risks to relevant business units.
- Create and maintain security reports, i.e., Risk Management Decision Item (RMDI), incident reports, HR investigations, and lost/stolen reports.
- Perform root cause analysis of the incident and take prompt actions.
- Analyze cyber security incidents to solve issues and suggest improvement.
- Create detailed reports and documentation of all incidents and procedures to the stakeholders on a routine basis.
- Support the execution and monitor of phishing simulation exercises, including user targeting, response tracking, and reporting.
- Respond to and resolve Privilege Access Management (PAM) related activities and service requests within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications and Experience :
- Experience working in the IT sector within the cybersecurity or networking fields within the past five (5) years
- Experience in network security and protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Experience utilizing security tools and platforms (i.e., SIEM systems like Sentinel, antivirus, vulnerability scanners).
- Experience in operating systems and platforms (Windows, Linux).
- Experience in incident response, detect, investigate, and mitigate security threats.
- Experience in risk assessment and management techniques for evaluating risks and implementing effective security solutions.
- Experience in compliance and regulations, i.e., ISO 27001 and NIST security frameworks, privacy legislation, etc.
- Experience in scripting and automation (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking is considered an asset.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and active Networking/cybersecurity certifications (i.e., Network+, Security+, CISSP, CEH, GSEC) is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
