S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Lead Developer to play a pivotal role in the implementation and support of platforms. This position requires an experienced technologist who will contribute to both application development and maintenance. The ideal candidate will proactively assess new products and technologies to create solutions that enhance business operations. A strong focus on delivery and substantial experience with financial applications are essential. The candidate will also provide assistance in daily support and operational functions, as well as in design, development, and unit testing activities.
**Responsibilities and Impact:**
+ Design and develop applications for platform systems.
+ Engage in various software development processes, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.

**The Database Developer is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.**
