We’re hiring a Data Operations Manager to bring structure, consistency, and reliability to how we manage and use data across the company. Our current analytics stack (spanning Mixpanel, BigQuery, and Looker) has grown organically and needs cohesive direction. In this role, you’ll design and implement a unified data framework that connects product usage, marketing performance, and revenue outcomes into a single, trusted source of truth.

This position sits at the intersection of data, operations, and strategy. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to ensure data is accurate, well-documented, and actionable. Your work will directly shape how the company measures success, discovers opportunities, and makes decisions.

Responsibilities

• Audit current tracking, pipelines, and reporting for gaps and inconsistencies.
• Create and maintain a tracking plan across events, properties, and data flows.
• Define and enforce data governance standards (naming conventions, documentation, ownership).
• Partner with engineering to ensure correct event instrumentation and pipeline reliability.
• Work with product, marketing, and RevOps to translate business needs into data requirements.
• Build self-serve reporting and dashboards that give teams clear insights.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years experience in data operations, product analytics, or business intelligence.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses (BigQuery preferred).
• Familiarity with event-based analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.).
• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Metabase, etc.).
• Strong communicator who can align stakeholders on data definitions and priorities.
• Bonus: SaaS/PLG experience, where product usage data drives revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and project teams to streamline data pipelines and support reporting and business intelligence needs.
• Oversee data acquisition, validation, integration, and enrichment processes to maintain data readiness, accuracy, and reliability.
• Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines and act as the gatekeeper for scheduled and ad-hoc releases.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience in data operations, with experiences in a lead role, and a strong focus on data management, data quality, and governance.

Education/Training

• Post-secondary degree in a quantitative discipline.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Comprehensive understanding of data pipeline architecture, modern data stack architecture, and cloud-based platforms, including AWS, Snowflake, and other cloud-native solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of data operations framework and models  
• Working knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting CI/CD and data pipelines.
• Experience in developing and maintaining data quality and validation processes.
• Strong knowledge of observability and data lineage implementation to ensure pipeline transparency and monitoring.

The role requires a strong familiarity with common media analytics and technology tools, both syndicated and proprietary. The ideal candidate will provide oversight of the data generated throughout the campaign delivery and performance optimization throughout its lifecycle. The role links the Digital Media, Marketing Science and Offshore Data Operations teams, as well as working directly with external stakeholders and partners. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Management & Strategy

• Leads the interactions with the business stakeholders to establish overall data strategy to their business problems and challenges, including the ability to see growth potential within existing accounts
• Leads and manages cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to understand complex data issues involving multiple systems, establish priorities, develop improvement plans, allocate resources and implement solutions
• Architect, develops, and maintains flexible data repositories, databases, and reporting data solutions using standard PHD data processing and visualization platforms
• Develops and enhances ETL processes for performance and scalability for data ingestion, data harmonization and data analytics needs
• Creates, gathers and writes business requirements documents and technical requirements documents. Translates business rules for data cleansing, data harmonization and QA needs
• Leads the design and build of highly effective visualization, dashboard and reports for both internal and external clients. Establishes update cadence and frequency by balancing internal teams' workload and client demands
• Maintains ongoing management and stewardship of data management, processing and reporting
• Works with the offshore teams to translate business requirements into final deliverable that is in accordance with client and PHD standards. Helps establish data operations best practices for on-going data management
• Collaborate with Media/Ad Ops, Strategy and Media teams to develop client data taxonomy in accordance with agency and client standards. Held internal teams accountable for entering and uploading all media buys to various buying systems
• Works with and promotes adoption of new and existing in-house media Data Operations tools and processes

• Periodically evaluates and re-evaluates new and existing business intelligence tools/platforms to ensure they meet the changing requirements of media data and client account best practices

Data Governance & Documentation

• Oversees documentation of processes, workflows and technical implementations of any project. Proactively identifies, proposes and generates targeted solutions for data quality issues and operational inefficiencies
• Educates each business unit to maintain consistent and comprehensive documentation of data-related standards and processes
• Leads the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive data management and integrity program, including leading a coordinated governance process involving key stakeholders
• Troubleshoots problems through testing and bug fixing. Constructs reliable processes for error/exception handling, error management, and error notification. Ensures quality of assigned projects.
• Responsible for ensuring industry data standards are appropriately utilized and leveraged to drive data quality and compliance and to ensure impact is minimized, mitigated appropriately

People & Project Management

• Acts as liaison between PHD internal teams and offshore data operations team to manage the process for validating the implementation, optimization and reconciliation of all campaign data
• Facilitate client communication and progression of tasks through regular status meetings and working sessions. Proactively elevate and resolve project roadblocks and issues
• Works alongside Executive Director or Senior Direct to address critical business issues and have tough conversations with internal teams and clients. Develops short-term plans to prioritize needs and resolve urgent issues
• Fosters positive relationships and works with internal teams (Client Business Lead, Strategy, Digital Investment, Programmatic, Search, Social). Communicates roles, responsibilities and expectations in an effective manner
• Builds positive relationships with vendors and partners. Encourages all vendors and partners to follow PHD best practices to meet data quality standards
• Supervises offshore Leads and Analysts to perform data operations, data quality assurance and client management tasks. Provides guidance to team members and nurtures/promotes team environment

Description
Our client within the Capital Markets Operations team at a major Canadian bank is looking for 2 Data Analysts for a 12-month contract with potential for extension. The candidate must have experience in Capital Markets Operations (ideally within SSI - Standard Settlement Instructions) and should have strong ability to work with and remediate data using MS Excel and ideally experience working with MS Access as the database. This is more of a "head down" data clean-up project, tied to a regulatory initiative, so the candidate should be comfortable with working in a repetitive but important data remediation role, and should have strong attention to detail. The soft skills and intangibles are critical for this group. They are looking for candidates who can critically think, who are willing to take initiative, and people who understand the work ethic required in a busy capital markets environment. This is tied to the ISO Payment Transformation initiative taking place at the bank, where they need to clean-up their customer data to be compliant with ISO standards, or there would be huge regulatory fines/implications. An example could be that a customer has an address that isn't recognized by their systems (i.e., CAD instead of CA to recognize "Canada"), and this data needs to all be structured in a certain way to be recognized as compliant by ISO standards. This is also a hybrid work environment, and candidates are required to be in-office 3x per week (this group sits out of downtown Toronto). The most critical piece is the candidate's ability to work with data. They should be well-versed in Excel including Macros ideally, and have the ability to automate processes and create efficiencies. This is a data remediation project, and there are way too many line items to go through each data set, so candidates should be able to effectively work with Macros (ideally, candidates will have some programming knowledge in SQL or VBA) but it's likely there will be a lot of manual adjustments that cannot be automated. If they are strong in working with data but don't have Capital Markets Operations experience, that can be considered, as the primary driver for this role is data automation / process improvements.

Your Role:

This position provides facilities support of Global Relay's mission critical data center facilities, server environments and related infrastructure. This includes specification, installation, maintenance and testing of mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, server and storage systems within established standards, as well as development and maintenance of data center support systems such as automated system provisioning, asset tracking, space planning, cable management, equipment monitoring and maintenance. The primary focus of this position will be around facilities support, including electrical, HVAC, and building maintenance and repairs. Activities require timely troubleshooting of hardware including servers, mechanical systems, electrical systems and use of monitoring application software and operating systems to monitor, diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. These responsibilities require independent and team-based analyses, initiative and good judgment, communication and problem solving while working with little supervision. This role will be primarily facilities related.

Your Job:

• Ensure facility is maintained to highest standards possible to ensure 100% uptime is achieved.
• HVAC systems maintenance, filter replacements, motor swaps, cleaning and inspections
• Daily, weekly and monthly inspections of facility, logging of results, and planning of repairs and maintenance.
• Electrical system inspections, testing and documenting.
• Receiving, unpacking, assembling, racking and cabling of servers, storage systems and related components.
• Ability to lift and move large and awkward equipment safely.
• Light fabrication, metalwork and construction as part of facility expansion and changes.
• Building maintenance including; pressure washing, painting, basic repairs of doors and hardware.
• Assist operations staff with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of servers, storage systems, peripheral equipment and software
• Maintain a well-organized list of inventory of all equipment and parts.

Essential qualifications include:

• Familiarity with mechanical equipment systems (CRAC, CRAH, evaporative cooling) required.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and how they are used in a data center.
• Metalworking, Fabrication and construction skills to conduct repairs and installations of equipment.
• Experience with complex building and mechanical system controls.

Amazon is currently hiring Building Technicians to support our data centers. The Building Operations Technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center. The Building Technician serves as a technical resource to support Amazon within its data centers. Data center equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. Building Technician's are also tasked with driving innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities.
