Job Summary

Fluor Driver Inc. is currently seeking reliable, detail-oriented Janitors for a Turnaround in Sarnia, ON. The successful candidate's responsibilities will be to safely and effectively perform general janitorial duties in an industrial maintenance environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the facility by: sweeping, dusting, waxing, mopping, scrubbing, washing windows, bathrooms, interior walls and ceilings vents; as well as vacuuming and sanitizing all areas.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets and fixtures.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Constantly push the janitorial cleaning cart between working areas - Loads can consist of up to 50 lbs.
• Restock necessary supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed, ensuring an adequate supply of cleaning materials and tools.
• Conduct site inspections and report any potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to the shift supervisor.
• Ensure that cleaning tasks are well-coordinated and completed efficiently, adapting to changing priorities as necessary.
• Strictly follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.

Key Characteristics

• Physically Demanding on the body; Bending, crouching, kneeling, standing, lifting, pushing and walking at all times throughout the shift (Averaging 20,000 Steps+ daily)
• Must be able to lift heavy loads
• Repetitive Tasks working long hours daily.
• Ability to understand verbal and written communications in English.

Education

• Experience in industrial maintenance facility is an asset.
• Certified in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS).
• Ability to use Personal protective equipment (PPE) and following best practices to ensure personal and workplace safety.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.

**Position Summary:**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Processor 2 is responsible for ensuring the products scheduled for production are produced as per the proper recipes and formulas and in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) requirements.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities:**
---

* Setting up equipment for product runs and changeovers, including working with maintenance as required without assistance
* Pre-scaling ingredients as per cook sheets accurately and efficiently without assistance
* Monitoring processing activities against production schedule and update QC, Maintenance and Supervision on progress as needed
* Implement changes/adaptations to formula and/or process as per written instructions without assistance
* Execute modifications (without assistance) to ensure batches produced conforms to specifications
* Ensuring all QC protocols are in place and completing all required documentation (including daily records) accurately and on time
* Assisting in training as required to ensure proper production SOP's. GMP's, equipment and Health & Safety Standards are met
* Inspecting equipment & initiating appropriate sanitation protocols as per the Company's SSOP's
* Ensuring all standards for sterilization, sanitation & housekeeping as per Company SSOP's are met
* Batch/process for product trails as required
* Participate in Customer Audits as required
* Integrating all plant, quality, safety and security policies and guidelines into all day to day activities on the job
* Able to train new employees
* Perform tasks on time
* Delegate and work with Team Workers to perform tasks of the processing floor
* Be the main contact for the processing department when Supervisor is absent
* All other work as assigned by duly authorized Supervisor or Team Leader

**Education and Experience:**

* To batch/process recipes that may be new recipes
* Follow all proper maintenance, sanitation and Health & Safety protocols at all times
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and general housekeeping
* Carry out timely and effective line handover between shifts, including the completion of proper documentation and accurate briefing on progress/issues
* Ensure timely availability all raw materials/packaging required to meet the production plan (as appropriate)
* Monitor high temperature batching processed as per instructions, formulas and recipes
* Perform hot & cold blending processes
* Make adjustments/modifications to batches to ensure conformance to specifications
* Operate mechanical and digital scales
* Blend various components to large and small batch processing
* Operating sheer mixers, transfer pumps, processing valves and controls
* Operating manual and automatic valves which control all bulk materials, dry materials and dispersion equipment
* Accurately recording all CCP's (Brix, pH, colour, flavour and taste)
* Operating manual and/or electric pallet jacks
* Operate forklift
* Acquire new skills as per training provided
* Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors as a Quality Focused, Service orientated team player
* Solve problems independently as per standard guidelines and procedures
* Written skills for document completion and use
* Oral & written communication to give and understand work instructions (both written & verbal)

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

* Operate mixing equipment and weighing scale.
* Organize and prepare items carefully to be measured.
* Weigh multiple ingredients to ensure they are portioned correctly and meet safe usage requirements.
* Record weight and composition of various ingredients accurately, taking care not to make mistakes.
* Conduct scaling and loading of ingredients into mixers and ingredient bins.
* Transfer weighed ingredients to the dry mixer for processing.
* Follow dough formulation and adds ingredients as specified.

* Perform cleaning of machinery and Weighing room during the changeover in a timely manner according with the GF SOP’s

Responsibilities:

• Support the paint & injection specialists during new and upgrade installations.
• Work in a safe manner and maintain 5S.
• Attends daily Start of Shift and End of Shift meetings for proper handover of shifts.
• Follow ALL policies and procedures, including all policies and procedures set out by Health and Safety.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The duties of the Electrical Wiring/Assembler include reading and interpreting internally generated wiring diagrams and schematics, understanding functions of components and install them, use appropriate wires, terminations, and labels, to fully wire all the components within a custom control panels.

This role will also assist in electrical assembly and with training could assist in minor electrical testing and commissioning.

This position works Day Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics accurately.

Identify components based on bills of material and inspect for defects prior to use.

Electrical Tasks: Select the correct wire location, gauge, and type, and determine proper wire routing and lengths. Install and assemble wire harnesses and wire tags. Wire electrical panel components according to provided diagrams and schematics. Install various components (e.g., terminal blocks, fuses, switches) into control panels.

Perform quality inspections to ensure wiring accuracy and correct component selection. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues at the wiring diagram and schematic level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma

MECHANICAL APTITUDE: Basic understanding of mechanical concepts relevant to electrical tasks.

The Finishing Packer is tasked with inspecting, banding and shrink wrapping stacks of finished labels as well as assembling and packing boxes of finished labels. Meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards. Interacts with other departments to achieve company’s core strategies. This is an entry level role that we intend to grow into other positions within the company.

Responsibilities:  

• Inspects finished labels to ensure quality.
• Bands and shrink wraps stacks of finished labels.
• Assembles corrugated boxes or trays.
• Packs finished labels in boxes for shipment.
• Stacks boxes on pallet for shipment.
• Completes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner.
• Operates a pallet jack.
• Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures, other work instructions, and other regulations (IE: ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP) as applicable.
• Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining company code of ethics.
• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts which may include painting and cleaning of facility (interior and exterior).
• Travels as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Able to spend full shift standing up
• Positive attitude
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
•  Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
