Key Responsibilities- Ceramic Artistry & Aesthetics
- Apply expert layering techniques for crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant-supported restorations to achieve natural aesthetics and translucency.
- Perform precise shade matching and custom staining to replicate natural tooth characteristics, ensuring seamless integration with patient dentition.
- Expertise
- Work proficiently with various ceramic systems including lithium disilicate, zirconia, and feldspathic porcelains. Select appropriate materials based on clinical requirements.
- Nice to have: CAD/CAM design experience and technical ability to complete cases from start to finish
- Collaboration
- Work directly with prosthodontists and CAD/CAM designers to interpret clinical requirements, discuss aesthetic goals, and maintain top-quality standards.
- Participate in chairside consultations to evaluate shade, form, and aesthetics directly in the patient's mouth and work alongside prosthodontists during try-ins to make real-time adjustments and refinements.
- Quality Control & Case Management
- Inspect all ceramic work for accuracy in contour, occlusion, and aesthetics before final delivery.
- Maintain organized workspace and assist in tracking case progress through the ceramic finishing stages.
- RDT in BC
- Registered Dental Technician (RDT) or equivalent with ceramics specialty preferred, or equivalent experience and demonstrated expertise in ceramic work.
- Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on ceramic layering and staining experience.
- Proven expertise in anterior aesthetics, complex shade matching, and full-mouth rehabilitation cases.
- Nice to have: CAD/CAM design experience and technical ability to complete cases from start to finish
