- Create solid models, layouts and associative assembly and detail drawings from sketches, notes or direction from senior designers or Project Engineers to stringent industry, company and military standards
- Design mobile defense subsystems with minimal supervision utilizing NX CAD software integrated to the Teamcenter database
- Perform design calculations and trade-off studies as required
- Incorporate engineering change requests into existing Technical Data Package
- Perform dynamic motion and interference analyses
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in Electrical or Mechanical field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with NX CAD software in modeling, drafting and assemblies
- Strong knowledge of the application and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) from piece parts to assemblies
- Demonstrated strength in MS Office applications
- Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
- Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Requirements for confined space
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years mechanical design utilizing CAD tools in a related industry
- Knowledge of military drawing practices including MIL-STD-100 and related ASME Y14 series standards
- Experience with typical defense and/or mobile equipment standards (e.g. MIL-Specs, ASME standards, SAE standards, FMVSS, etc.)
- Knowledge of Teamcenter Product Data Management application
- OACETT certified Mechanical Technologist or Technician (CET) with specialty in mobile equipment

- Stay informed about industry trends, new interior design technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior interior design technologists.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design Technology or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an Interior Design Technologist, preferably in healthcare projects.
- Strong proficiency in using design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated experience in producing detailed interior design drawings and construction documents.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to healthcare facilities.
- Familiarity with interior design products, finishes, and materials suitable for healthcare environments.
- Understanding of construction processes and ability to coordinate with other design disciplines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in technical drawings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with design teams.
