**This is a fixed term position ( 12 months)**
**Position Summary**
The Advanced Imaging group develops both full custom and semi-custom image sensors and cameras for airborne, space, and life science applications.
In this role, you will be focusing on activities like hardware design, board testing, board programming and debugging based on project needs. You will be working together with a team that may include sensor/electronics/software/FPGA/mechanical design specialists, process engineers, and test specialists. You will also interact with other Teledyne groups including manufacturing, purchasing, and CMOS development.
To be successful in this role, what we're looking for in you is:
+ Hardware design/testing experience
+ Software design/testing experience
+ FPGA design/testing experience
+ Comfortable with measurement equipment such as oscilloscope and working in a laboratory setting
+ Excellent problem solving skills
+ Experience preparing & revising technical reports and project documents
+ Must be a team player, as well as be able to work independently
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree in Electrical (Electronics)/Computer Engineering or equivalent
+ 3 years of applicable experience
+ Proven experience working within a large multidisciplinary team and good communication skills are required
+ Eligible for Controlled Goods security clearance

**Position Summary**
We are currently seeking a highly talented and motivated junior to senior **Electronics Engineer** to be part of our high-end scanning products R&D team. As a successful candidate for this role, you have problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, good communication skills and a desire to tackle challenges. You will use your skills and initiative within a team environment to develop novel camera designs for world-class imaging products.
**Position requirements**
+ B.Sc. or higher in electrical or electronic engineering.
+ Minimum three years demonstrated ability to develop PCBs and interconnects.
+ Desire to learn new technologies and innovate.
+ Ability to interact with mechanical, FPGA, embedded software, and test engineers.
+ Schematic capture and PCB layout supervising.
+ Selection of electronic parts and supporting procurement.
+ Design for reliability and robustness.
+ Technical analysis documentation with diagrams and calculations.
+ Design of mixed-signal PCBs and board to board interconnects using the latest FPGAs, uCs, DDR memories, clock generators, cables, and connectors.
+ Understanding design for signal and power integrity.
+ Good knowledge of switching power supply design.
+ Experience with transistors, opamps, ADCs and DACs.
+ Knowledge of the most common communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, GigE.
+ Participate in all aspects of project life cycle including concept definition and trade-offs, requirements development, design, test, release for production, and customer support.
**Asset qualifications:**
+ Experience with Mentor Graphics PCB design tools.
+ High-speed digital design experience with FPGA blocks including multi-gigabit transceivers, PLLs, memory and uC interfaces, hard and soft processing cores.
+ Camera electronics design experience.
+ Mentoring of junior engineers.
+ High-speed PCB simulations.
+ IC package design.

**Position Summary**
The Advanced Imaging group develops both full custom and semi-custom image sensors and cameras for airborne, space, and life science applications.
As the senior hardware designer of one or more projects, you will be responsible for the system level design by ensuring the final product meets customer specifications, and ensuring technical risk is managed/mitigated. Working hand-in-hand with the Project Manager, you will lead the hardware design working together with a team that may include sensor/electronics/mechanical design specialists, process engineers, and test specialists. You will also interact with other Teledyne groups including manufacturing, purchasing, and CMOS development.
To be successful in this role, what we're looking for in you is:
+ Low noise analog electronics design experience
+ High speed digital design experience
+ Broad knowledge of systems engineering, hardware design, software design, and product development process
+ Must be a strong team player, as well as be able to work independently
+ Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Report writing is essential.
+ Understanding of Design for Manufacturability and Reliability engineering
+ Experience preparing & revising technical reports and project documents
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Electrical (Electronics)/Computer Engineering or equivalent
+ At least 5 years of hardware design/development experience
+ Strong, proven experience leading hardware design
+ Proven experience working within a large multidisciplinary team and excellent communication skills are required
+ Eligible for Controlled Goods security clearance
The ideal candidate will also have:
+ Experience with ECSS and MIL standards
+ Hardware design experience for Space applications
+ Experience working with CMOS image sensors and/or cameras

SENIOR DESIGN-BUILD DESIGN MANAGER
Parsons is an industry leader in successfully delivering complex, challenging, and high-profile infrastructure projects. Some of Parsons landmark projects include the Gordie Howe International Bridge in Windsor, Ontario; the Confederation Line LRT Project in Ottawa; and the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit Project in Toronto.
Parsons is looking for a **Senior Design-Build Design Manager** to join our team! Currently with over 30 design-build projects underway in North America and over 50 pursuits you will have numerous opportunities to deliver signature projects across Canada. There are opportunities and project locations in the Greater Toronto Area where you can provide direction and management for large scale road and highway projects. You will drive the marketing and pursuit strategy, scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project. Remote work options available. Travel to job sites will be required.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
+ Manage a project or program valued over $1 billion in total installed cost
+ Deliver much needed transportation improvements
+ Foster collaboration across multiple stakeholders
WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
+ 4-year degree in Civil Engineering (or related)
+ 20 + years of related work experience
+ Registered PEng
+ Design/Build experience as the Design Manager
+ Roadway or Bridge design experience
+ Proven background of leading multidisciplinary teams on challenging, high-profile projects

Job Description
The Principal Analog IC Designer is responsible for the design and development of analog/mixed signal IC circuit blocks from initial concept/specification through final verification of conformance to customer specifications. The Principal Analog IC Designer contributes to the design of long-reach SerDes.
+ Candidate's background should include a minimum of 5 years of experience in the development of CMOS SerDes or high-speed I/O IC
+ Must have a thorough understanding of jitter and signal equalization techniques
+ Proficient design experience in most of the following SerDes circuit blocks: Driver; Receiver; Serializer; Deserializer; Phase Interpolator; Low jitter PLL; High Speed Clock Distribution; ADC and DAC; Bias and Bandgap; and Voltage Regulators
+ Excellent problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
+ Working knowledge of a set of common SerDes standards and their electrical requirements is a plus
+ Position requires proficiency in using CAD tools for circuit simulation, and post-layout verification. Proficiency with layout entry a plus
+ Cadence tool experience, lab test experience, and design experience at =16Gbps and in =16nm technologies are a plus
+ MS or PhD in EE
