Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement external communication plans that align with Valnet goals and brand voice.
- Write, edit, and proofread compelling content for newsletters, websites, social media, press releases, blog posts, presentations, and more.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic messaging, change communications, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies using analytics and feedback.
- Create visually engaging designs for digital materials including email templates, social media graphics, presentations, infographics, and reports.
- Ensure all visual materials maintain brand consistency and follow established style guides.
- Collaborate closely with associated brands and various departments.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the brand’s visual assets and design systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in a communications or design role.
- Proven portfolio showcasing both writing samples and visual design work.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva, Figma, or equivalent.
- Experience with content management systems, email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and social media tools.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to tell a story visually and verbally.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in branding and corporate identity design.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic video editing.

Role Summary

Marie Studio) and working alongside the Procurement Project Manager and FF&E Designers, the Procurement Specialist is responsible for all ordering, administration, and supply of the FF&E package. It is their responsibility to ensure that the supply is made on time, within budget and in the most efficient manner ensuring that the FF&E Accountant is kept informed of all necessary compliance.
Location & Travel
- The role is a Hybrid of remote working and occasional office meetings
- The office is in Toronto ON
- Travel may be requested, but travel is not a mainstream aspect of the position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Complete FF&E / OS&E bidding and procurement processes
- Ensure proper delivery and fulfillment of FF&E / OS&E procurement packages
- Create detailed, costed and accurate quote packages meeting the needs of the particular project.
- Perform quantity checks and floor plan take offs
- Review project drawings, specifications, and other relevant addenda.
- Prepare and administer timely, effective, and thorough procurement efforts.
- Develop vendor scopes of work.

Requirements
