**Responsibilities:**
+ Problem solve, think big, and explore divergent concepts/ideas while understanding how to converge and build iteratively towards your vision
+ Plan strategically and think tactically as a partner with product and engineering to define the future of the team
+ Influence the shape of the product with research and data while executing design work using high quality wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and prototypes
+ Advocate for design by sharing your work and presenting to stakeholders, while being able to precisely articulate design rationale
+ Inspire the entire team by bringing new ideas to the table
+ Create a unified, end-to-end experience through close collaboration with team members from across the Product Design teams
**Experience:**
+ Currently pursuing **Bachelors** or **Masters** in a Design related field (UX, UI, HCI), with a **graduation date between December 2026 and Summer 2027 (required).** For any candidates who are master's students who worked between their bachelor's and master's programs: candidates should also have less than 2 years of relevant full-time work experience.
+ Available during **Summer 2026** for an internship in Toronto, Canada
+ Experience designing on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Mobile web, Desktop, etc) is a bonus!
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Expertise with Figma and other design and prototyping tools

Were looking for a skilled Product Engineer (P.Eng or equivalent) to take a lead role in designing and developing innovative product solutions. This position is focused on creating products that are practical to manufacture, cost-effective, compliant with safety and testing standards, and aligned with customer and market needs. Youll be working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where attention to detail, technical expertise, and teamwork drive success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and engineering of new products from concept through to production, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability are optimized.

  • Investigate and apply new materials and manufacturing techniques while keeping supplier capabilities in mind.

  • Develop and refine designs through modeling, prototyping, testing, and iteration.

  • Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation in compliance with internal standards and ISO requirements.

  • Partner with internal teams and external partners to ensure designs meet customer expectations, regulatory standards (BIFMA, CGSB, UL/CSA, UBC, IBC), and industry best practices.

  • Coordinate prototype builds and support pre-production runs for validation, testing, training, and showroom purposes.

  • Contribute to cost optimization efforts through material analysis, supplier collaboration, and value-engineering initiatives.

  • Support product launches with detailed technical packages, process reviews, and cross-department collaboration.

  • Assist with resolving product-related issues, warranty concerns, and quality improvements with both short-term fixes and long-term solutions.

  • Stay current with industry trends, sustainability practices, and advances in engineering and design processes.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education/experience.

  • Professional Engineering License (P.Eng) or equivalent is required.

  • 5-7 years of experience in product design and manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of a range of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, plastics, wood, glass, etc.).

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling and detailed design) and familiarity with SolidWorks PDM preferred.

  • Experience with ERP systems in engineering/manufacturing is an asset.

  • Solid understanding of ANSI/BIFMA standards.

  • Hands-on experience in prototyping and model making.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Portfolio Valuations (PV) provides an independent, post-trade valuation service to buy-side institutions globally, covering vanilla and exotic OTC derivatives, cash instruments and structured notes across all asset classes.
**Responsibilities and Impact:**
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual with experience in derivative pricing and the related market datasets to be part of a team of analysts that supports the creation, maintenance and delivery of derivatives market data sets and valuations.
+ Perform market data checks, such as vol surface or yield curve checks.
+ Handle complex price challenges and resolve them to the satisfaction of the client, compare prices with vanilla instruments and confirm the accuracy of our pricing models.
+ Conduct coverage checks, confirming whether a particular derivative is covered, and under which instrument type we would price it.
+ Perform booking checks confirming trade data has been captured correctly.
+ Work on projects in Excel, VBA, Python that improve trade processing, calibration sheets, or add bespoke product coverage.
+ Contribute to the design and testing of S&P Global valuation models.
**What We're Looking For:**
**Basic Required Qualifications:**
+ Relevant practical experience (3-5 years)
+ Good degree in a quantitative discipline
+ Good understanding of OTC derivatives in one or more asset classes
