We are seeking an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Designer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of complex energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to define design requirements and project deliverables.
- Prepare drawings, schematics, layouts, and design details for construction and fabrication purposes.
- Develop and maintain drawing standards, templates, and procedures.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
- Incorporate vendor drawings and technical information into project documentation.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Support project documentation and drafting activities as directed by project leadership.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Design, or equivalent.
- 47 years of relevant design experience, including at least 2 years in an EPC or EPCM environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience within the oil and gas sector preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

**Compensation:**
The salary range (in British Columbia):
Intermediate: $71,500 - $8,300.
Senior: 82,900 - 114,000.
