• Architecture Development

**Role Responsibilities:**
Threat & Vulnerability Management


- In collaboration with the IT team, oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of tenable solutions across the organization.
- Mitigate threats found in penetration tests.
- Regularly conduct vulnerability scans and assessments, analyze results, and develop remediation plans.
- Ensure timely patch management and risk mitigation strategies in response to identified vulnerabilities.
- Manage and maintain MDR and XDR solutions to ensure comprehensive endpoint security across all devices (including ensuring real-time monitoring and response capabilities).
- Develop and maintain threat hunting protocols, leveraging EDR/XDR capabilities to identify potential risks.
- Implement policies for malware detection, prevention, and response.
- Conduct regular security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, recommending enhancements to existing security posture.
- Work closely with MDR providers to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents.
- Coordinate incident response activities with MDR teams, ensuring effective risk mitigation.
- Review and analyze MDR reports, implementing recommended security improvements.
- Investigate and respond to endpoint security incidents, coordinating with other IT, business teams, and staff as necessary.
- Administer and monitor IDS/IPS solutions, ensuring real-time detection and prevention of security threats.
- Assist in the development and execution of incident response plans, ensuring rapid and effective responses to security incidents.
- Document and report on incidents, providing insights for continuous improvement of security measures.

Cloud Infrastructure & SaaS Administration


- Administer and secure cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including data encryption, access controls, and network security.
- Regularly audit cloud environments for security compliance and risk management.
- Monitor email traffic for security threats, spam, and phishing attempts, implementing necessary countermeasures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational email security policies and industry standards.
- Manage and secure Microsoft Azure environments, including Entra ID resource groups, and subscriptions, by implementing Azure policies and governance frameworks that align with organizational security standards.
- Manage Microsoft Intune policy configuration.
- Develop and enforce IAM policies, ensuring proper user authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Implement and manage SSO solutions, ensuring seamless and secure user access to multiple applications.
- Regularly review and audit access controls, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and manage DLP solutions to prevent unauthorized access and exfiltration of sensitive data.
- Regularly audit systems and processes for compliance, addressing any gaps or nonconformities.
- Prepare for and participate in security audits, providing necessary documentation and support when needed.

Server & Network Administration


- Active Directory (ADUC, site replications, AD Connect, DNS, Meta Data cleanup, GPO implementation, etc.). Windows Server (DHCP, DNS, MMC, IIS, Server Manager, etc.).
- Manage Hypervisor, VMware and Hyper-v
- Administer organizational networks (multiple sites, public / private Wi-Fi, ACL's, IPsec VPN, Client VPN, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose network errors or failures.

Job Qualifications


- Relevant experience may include education with a focus in Computer Science or a closely related IT field, or equivalent hands-on career experience
- 5 years' experience in a similar IT role supporting systems, networks, and data
- Expertise in Threat Detection and Mitigation, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Network Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Endpoint Security
- Strong cloud infrastructure skills, including Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS), Cloud Security Best Practices, Cloud Identity and Access Management, Cloud Monitoring and Logging, Data Protection in the Cloud, Automation and Scripting, Cloud Incident Response, and Container and Microservices Security

Opportunity

The role of Senior Manager, Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture involves leading a team of experienced architects and people leaders. This position focuses on guiding the design and implementation of technical strategies to ensure the client's organization benefits from scalable, secure, and compliant Hybrid Cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect - Infrastructure to design the structure of our clients IT systems and oversee programs to ensure the proper architecture is implemented.

In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex requirements into functional architecture. We’d also like you to have hands-on experience in software development and be able to manage complex programs.

Your goal will be to ensure our internal IT framework operates properly.

Responsibilities

This is a customer facing role, owning the overall technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Applications Development Platform. You will own the Cloud Infrastructure and Azure Applications Development technical customer engagements including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or pilots. The ideal candidate will have experience leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers.

Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment

• Observes colleagues and learns how to gather customer/partner insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs) and align with solutions.
• Acts as the voice of the customer (VOC)/partner by learning to identify and share feedback around technical capabilities, gaps, blockers, and insights that relate to the customer/partner with internal teams, using established channels (e.g., UAT/TFT).
  

Architecture Design and Deployment

• Leverages an existing architecture approach or reference architecture to propose a solution or achieve Microsoft's agreed commitments to the customer/partner. Assesses customer/partner needs and gathers information that helps others to identify growth opportunities.
• Solicits input from others to contribute to proposals for viable solutions based on specific technical products. demonstrates basic technical concepts and proves those design solutions capability through design collaboration sessions with the customer/partner.
• Applies foundational technical knowledge of an architecture solution to meet business and information technology (IT) requirements and resolve identified technical constraints.
• Supports customer/partner projects as needed for specified architecture solutions by investigating a solution area and assisting in research and testing out concepts developed by more senior architects.
• Identifies technical blockers (e.g., changing configurations, sample coding) for selected products to accelerate architecture implementations and routes non-technical issues for removal by the appropriate party.
• Applies methodology and governance, as directed, to minimize business and technical risks and adhere to quality assurance while contributing to design and/or delivery of solutions (e.g. Well-Architected Framework, Enterprise Scale Landing Zone, Cloud Adoption Framework). Demonstrates an understanding of customer/partner conditions of success.

• Supports research projects and contributes to scoping surveys for customers/partners to assess potential intellectual property (IP) needs or process changes.
  

Trusted Advisor

• Works with internal teams and begins building relationships with customer/partner/MCS technical specialists under the guidance and supervision of others.
• Respectfully challenges customers/partners when going in the wrong direction and escalates appropriately.
• Learns Microsoft solutions and demonstrates an understanding of Microsoft's value to customers/partners.
  

Thought Leadership

• Provides input to virtual team members (e.g., Account team, enterprise channel managers, partner development manager (PDMs)) when asked, using a basic knowledge of specific Microsoft architectures and other relevant products. Actively looks for relevant communities to learn from.
• Participates in external architect community events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs, hackathons) and shares learnings with the internal team.
  

Customer Usage

• Participates in discussions around architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization that result in production deployment application and increase customer business value. Ensures that the customer's environment and applications are well-architected.

We are looking for a solution architect (SA) who will report to the manager of solution architecture. The SA will primarily define the solution architecture for specific projects but will also work with the business leaders to build a roadmap and alignment of solutions. As part of his/her role, the SA will review and understand business requirements for a project in order to design a technology solution that will meet those requirements while respecting the guiding principles of the Enterprise Architecture within the actual BRP context. 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Provide an architectural conception of the solution regarding business, application, information and technology domains via the solution architecture design document.
• Develop and implement infrastructure solutions to meet client needs. This involves assessing client requirements, selecting appropriate infrastructures and network services and designing scalable and secure architecture.
• Provide expertise in migrating existing applications and infrastructure to the cloud. This includes performing cloud readiness assessments, planning migration strategies, and ensuring a seamless transition with minimal downtime.
• Ensure infrastructure solutions adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements. This involves implementing security protocols, managing data encryption, and configuring cloud security services.
• Partner with the organization to understand organizational and departmental strategy and agree on information systems solutions to meet the needs. 
• Estimate cost, and prepare business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licences, development and support.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in IT, with at least five years in information system design.
• In-depth experience designing and implementing information solutions, with specialization in IT infrastructure (Server architecture (Windows and Linux), VDI, Virtualization, Networking projects).
• Strong Knowledge of enterprise networking, cyber security, identity management systems, Backup and Recovery, Monitoring tools, IaC.
• In-depth experience with Microsoft technologies (Azure, Sharepoint, OneDrive, M365 etc.)
• Knowledge of public Cloud technologies (IaaS, CaaS, SaaS, PaaS) running on Azure, GCP and AWS.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Experience in a factory IT environment.
• Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy and ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience of working with board-level stakeholders. 
• Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions. 
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem-solving skills and ability to develop solution architecture designs. 
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF with Archimate or the equivalent.
• Bilingualism (French & English) - knowledge of English is required because you will be representing BRP in negotiations with vendors in the US and exchanging with stakeholders around the world.
