The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a pivotal executive role reporting to the SVP, Capital Markets and
Corporate Strategy. As the most senior marketing leader at Navacord, the CMO will set the vision and
lead the execution of marketing strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. will collaborate with Executive Chairman, CEO, executive team and the extended network of marketing
The CMO will lead a head office team of direct reports, collaborating closely with the marketing teams
The role will support M&A activities, rebranding initiatives, and corporate communications (internal and
workplace and fostering unity within the organization, and will serve on the Executive One Culture Council.
Develop and implement a comprehensive national marketing strategy aligned with Navacord’s growth objectives.
Lead and mentor the corporate marketing team (Design Lead, Communications Lead, and eventual
Nurture and expand a community of marketing experts across the broker partner network,
Champion “One Culture” initiatives, including diversity, lifelong learning, and unity across the
Oversee the annual marketing plan and budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and
performance measurement.
Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, company announcements, and digital content.

Collaborate with sales leaders to develop targeted marketing campaigns that drive client acquisition and retention.
Support broker partners with sales collateral, proposals, and digital content.
Support marketing aspects of M&A activities, including integration, rebranding, and communications.
Market Research & Analysis :
Establish a marketing organizational structure that supports local autonomy while aligning regional offices under a unified national marketing strategy.
Implement and incorporate brand enablement tools that facilitate access to authorized assets and enhance brand compliance on a national scale.
Evaluate and be prepared to execute on a careful and thoughtful transition from a house of brands (Navacord’s 60+ Broker Partners) to a branded house.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in a national or multi-regional role within the insurance or financial services sectors.
Experience in marketing insurance products or professional services is highly preferred.

- Analyze user experiences to target audiences
- Formulate PR plans and strategies. Be the voice of our organization
- Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and social channels
- Write press releases and other PR copy
- Plan and supervise events, conferences, etc…
