We are looking for an experienced Digital Banking Project Manager (Mobile & Internet) to join our team in Canada. The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading digital banking projects for credit unions or banks , including mobile and internet banking initiatives. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders, and experience in managing digital banking transformations .


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and mange mobile and internet banking projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with credit unions, banks, and financial institutions to define project scope, roadmap, and execution strategy.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and key deliverables, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Coordinate with vendors, third-party service providers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Track and report project progress, budgets, and risks, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive collaboration between product, development, testing, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth go-to-market execution.
  • Manage resource planning and optimize project workflows for efficiency and impact.


Qualifications & Experience


  • 2+ years of project management experience in digital banking, fintech, or financial services .
  • Previous experience working as a subcontractor or with vendors delivering digital banking solutions for credit unions or banks is preferred .
  • Proven experience in delivering mobile banking and online banking solutions .
  • Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and Waterfall methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively in projects.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and system integrations within banking ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with credit union and bank technologies, security, and compliance requirements .
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • PMP certification and analysis background is a plus.


Location & Work Setup


  • Preferred location: Vancouver or nearby cities , but candidates across Canada will be considered.
  • Hybrid work setup (some on-site presence may be required).

Job Overview

This is the team leader (head of marketing) responsible for the overall strategy and performance of FirstOntario's marketing. AVP ensures that digital transformation goals (e.g. expanding online member services) are met. Role

  • Support in the development and lead of the comprehensive marketing strategy (annual marketing plan) in line with FirstOntario's strategic goals, emphasizing digital channel growth and innovation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new products a service with stakeholders
  • Champion digital transformation within marketing by adopting new tools (e.g. marketing automation, data analytics) and ensuring seamless, user-friendly digital member experience.
  • Allocate and manage the marketing budget, balancing resources between member acquisition efforts (campaigns, ads) and member engagement initiatives (loyalty programs, communications) for maximum ROI.
  • Set KPIs and track performance of marketing campaigns (e.g. membership growth, digital engagement metrics, event impact), adjusting strategy based on data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with the communications and sales teams to develop campaigns that will achieve desired results, while managing costs. Following each campaign, this role will complete an analysis on the effectiveness of the campaign with a focus on ROI.
  • Ensure timely and effective execution of marketing objectives and programs that provide strategic support to the organization's objectives and examine the effectiveness of these programs through the analysis of results.
  • Provide strategic oversight to ensure high quality marketing and brand management creation including but not limited to brand building, print publications, web, and social media platforms.
