Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a forward-thinking, AI-savvy Digital Marketing Director to lead digital strategy for our Enterprise business, focused on organic growth, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), content intelligence, and discoverability across AI and search platforms.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping how enterprise buyers discover our brand and engage across the funnel — from high-intent SEO to LLM-optimized content, from global site performance to signal-based visibility in generative engines like ChatGPT and SGE.
This is a strategic yet hands-on position, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of search, content, technical SEO, web optimization, and AI-driven growth experimentation.
This is a full-time position working in the hybrid model and at least 3 days a week from our Ottawa office.
Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:
GEO & Enterprise Search Discovery
- Own and evolve our GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy — maximizing brand visibility across AI search platforms like ChatGPT, Google SGE, Perplexity, and Claude.
- Optimize content and website structure for LLM discoverability, semantic depth, and AI citation relevance.
- Lead enterprise SEO programs, including keyword strategy, content clustering, internal linking, and schema enrichment.
- Guide the development of high-intent landing pages and knowledge assets based on search and AI prompt trends.
Enterprise Web Experience & Localization
- Manage digital performance of the enterprise website, with a focus on conversion, accessibility, and global optimization.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Regional Marketing to localize and scale key experiences across priority regions.
- Drive experiments to improve landing page performance (speed, UX, content depth) and align to buyer needs.
Content Marketing & Topical Authority
- Lead the enterprise content strategy for organic growth — collaborating with content, product marketing, and field to define themes, formats, and distribution tactics.
- Identify gaps in topical coverage, support the creation of AI-ready content, and expand our digital footprint through thought leadership, use cases, and search-aligned narratives.
- Help establish our brand as a trusted source in the eyes of AI engines and evaluators.
Performance Optimization & Digital Intelligence
- Define KPIs and reporting frameworks for organic performance, AI search visibility, and content engagement.
- Use tools like GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and LLM-based prompt analysis to drive strategic decisions.
- Translate digital insights into actionable recommendations for GTM teams, aligning with enterprise pipeline objectives.
GTM Integration & Campaign Support
- Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Field, and Web to support enterprise GTM motions — including launches, narratives, and content hubs.
- Ensure our digital strategy supports pipeline goals, vertical plays, and strategic enterprise messaging across owned channels.
- Develop playbooks and feedback loops that make digital performance measurable and repeatable.
Other duties as assigned and related to the nature of this role and company initiatives.
QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or with related disciplines is strongly preferred. Advanced degrees and/or certifications are recommended.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or infrastructure tech is required. The ideal candidate should have 7 to 12+ years of global digital marketing experience with experience partnering and supporting a global team.
Ideal Candidate Profiles, Talents, and Desired Qualifications:
- Proven success leading SEO, web optimization, and content performance programs.
- Strong understanding of GEO, LLM optimization, and how generative AI is reshaping buyer discovery.
- Experience with digital analytics tools like GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Ahrefs.
- Deep curiosity and comfort with experimentation, structured content strategy, and signal-based marketing.
- Excellent communication and project management skills in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
