The Director of Procurement and Transportation is responsible for the operational management of purchasing, procurement, and transportation activities for all components, raw materials, and finished products related to camera manufacturing. He/she ensures optimal resource availability while controlling costs, deadlines, and quality, in accordance with the company's technical and commercial requirements.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGES:
Procurement:
- Define and lead the procurement of electronic, optical, mechanical components, etc.
- Select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and competitiveness.
- Supervise order management, inventory, and purchasing forecasts in conjunction with production.
- Monitor supplier markets (prices, innovation, availability).
Transportation:
- Organize and optimize incoming logistics flows (procurement).
- Coordinate domestic and international transportation, including customs formalities and export/import regulations.
- Establish performance indicators (KPIs) to measure transport efficiency, service rates, etc.
- Manage relationships with transport providers.
Team management and continuous improvement:
- Supervise and lead a multidisciplinary team (buyers, transport coordinators).
- Implement a continuous improvement process: cost reduction, optimization of deadlines, digitization of processes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects (new product launches, opening of new markets, quality certifications).
THE EXPERTISE WE’RE LOOKING FOR TO GO FURTHER:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, purchasing, supply chain, or engineering with a specialization in industrial management.
- 7 to 10 years in a similar position, ideally in an industrial or high-tech environment.
- Knowledge of electronic components and global supply chains.
- Proficiency in ERP (e.g., Oracle), planning, and flow management tools.
- Skills in negotiation, project management, and leadership.
- Fluency in English required (international supplier relations).
- Organizational skills and analytical mind.

The Opportunity:
