OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager with E-commerce expertise to join our team in New Brunswick region. In this role, you will lead and oversee complex technology projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Your ability to manage projects from initiation to completion, mitigate risks, and drive results will be crucial in shaping our project management practice.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
- Plan, lead, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of complex client-based projects and deliverables.
- Identify program/project milestones, critical success factors, and resource requirements.
- Ensure that risks are proactively identified with mitigation strategies developed and monitored while also ensuring that project issues are resolved and appropriately escalated; maintain data related to key risks and issues including the status and progress.
- Engage project stakeholders regularly by keeping them informed of delivery progress, risks and issues and manage expectations on deliverables.
- Lead initiatives involving a significant level of business or technology transformation and organizational change.
- Collaborate efficiently with partners and vendors to deliver projects according to plan.
- Manage budgets and align project deliverables to expected business benefits.
- Negotiate changes in scope, budget or schedule with sponsor and steering committees.
- Analyze, problem solve, and research project elements as required.
- Provide proactive leadership and direction to Project Management and Delivery teams.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
- 10+ years of project management experience in large sized projects.
- Demonstrated experience within a team environment where the candidate was called on to perform tasks in a mixture of collaborative and autonomous modes.
- Demonstrated and verifiable experience in developing and delivering tailored written and verbal communications to a varied stakeholder base; including senior and executive-level, technical, and business resources.
- A minimum of five years of demonstrated and verifiable experience as a project manager on projects with multiple stakeholder communities.
- Expertise with e-commerce platforms
- Strong understanding of the consulting process, project management, organizational change management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences (technical, management, executive).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related technical area.
- Experience working in client-based consulting role is highly desirable.
- Relevant industry certifications are an asset (PMP, PROSCI).
- Ability to work hybrid or onsite model is preferred.

As the Program Manager, Digital Commerce, you will lead and drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex eCommerce initiatives across multiple business units and platforms. This role will bring a customer-focused view and act as the program manager for our omnichannel digital transformation initiative.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Program Manager, Digital Commerce, your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with key business units and IT leaders to identify and prioritize technology initiatives
- Compile business cases and decision requests that clearly articulate problems, solution options, recommendations, and stakeholder impact
- Spearhead implementation and management of resources for IT projects
- Manage and coach project teams to deliver high quality solutions
- Manage project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and manage vendors and contractors
- Present new projects and report progress to the Steering Committee
- Interact with internal clients of all levels to improve their technology experience

Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- At least 5-7 years of progressive project and/or program management experience, with a focus on digital and eCommerce initiatives
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation projects across B2B channels
- Post-secondary degree in a related field such as computer science or business administration
- Project management certification
- Experience implementing digital commerce platforms (i.e., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce, etc.)
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and middleware integration
- Strong proficiency in project management tools (i.e., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Monday.com, etc.)
- Expertise in agile, scrum, and traditional PM methodologies and the ability to tailor PM approach based on project needs
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
