Coordinating and supervising heavy equipment and other third-party contractors as requiredAssisting with the oversight of client budgets, tracking project statuses, and making recommendations to progress sites toward regulatory closureCoordinate and execute Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) site visits, vegetation assessments, Phase 2 ESA’s, and Detailed Site Assessments (DSA’s)Collaborate with members of the Technical Resource Group to develop site-specific remediation guidelinesDevelop and maintain relationships with landowners and other stakeholdersWork closely with interdisciplinary groups (Technical Resource Group, Data Management Group, Spill Group, Biophysical Group, and Vegetation Group) to successfully execute client projects and programsCompiling various technical documents including DSA reports, Phase 2 ESA reports, remediation reports, and regulatory closure applicationsProvide mentorship and training to junior staffProvide support to senior staff as requiredRequirements2-8 years of consulting experience related to remediation, reclamation, or environmental scienceProficient at completing Detailed Site Assessments using the 2010 Reclamation Criteria for Well sites and Associated FacilitiesFamiliar with the Alberta Tier 1 and 2 Soil and Groundwater Remediation GuidelinesGood understanding of upstream oil and gas regulatory requirements in Alberta as well as British Columbia and Saskatchewan will be considered an assetKnowledge and experience working with various types of farming and heavy equipmentExcellent vegetation and weed identification skills in both forested and cultivated landscapesWillingness to travel and be in the field as dictated by project requirementsTechnical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science or related disciplineEligibility to obtain professional designation with an organization such as the Alberta Institute of AgrologistsExcellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and database entryValid driver’s licenseGood physical health and ability to work outdoors in varying conditionsWillingness to work within a team environmentHighly organized and can prioritize multiple tasksBenefitsPartner Staffing is Bringing Talent to Business.
