About the RoleWe're looking for an Email Marketing Designer to join our marketing team. You'll own the creative side of our email program: writing briefs, developing concepts, designing newsletters in Figma, and building them in Klaviyo. You'll also support A/B testing and have discussions around metrics to help us continuously improve.
This is an execution-focused but creative role. You'll be responsible for bringing ideas to life - turning campaign objectives into polished, on-brand emails that our customers love. You'll work closely with the Lifecycle Marketing Lead, who will guide strategy and deeper performance analysis, while you take the lead on day-to-day design and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Email Ideation
- Brainstorm and pitch ideas for email briefs, subject lines, headers, copy blocks, and visual concepts, based on marketing objectives, seasonal moments, and customer insights.

- Email Design & Production
- Design clean, mobile-first, engaging templates in Figma .
- Build and schedule campaigns in Klaviyo
- QA test all emails (links, personalization, layout, dark mode).
- Testing & Reporting
- Set up A/B tests for subject lines, creative, or layouts.
- Suggest creative improvements based on performance learnings.
- Collaboration & Ad Hoc Design
- Partner with the lifecycle team to align briefs with overall campaign strategy.
- Provide ad hoc design support for ads or social (resizing, adapting email assets).
- Attend team meetings to review campaign performance and align across channels.
While every day will be different, here's what a typical week might look like:
- Monday : Check in on campaign and flow performance from over the weekend in Klaviyo and meet with the Lifecycle Lead to understand key data takeaways. Draft creative briefs for next week's newsletters, outlining subject line ideas, content blocks, and visuals.
- Tuesday : Design email layouts in Figma and begin building the campaigns out in Klaviyo . Start setting up A/B tests and ensuring appropriate segmentation. QA test and schedule campaigns
- Wednesday : Join the team sync to review performance learnings and share upcoming creative concepts. Connect with the social media team to align on next month's content to ensure consistency over platforms.
- Thursday : Pull reporting from Klaviyo, meet with Lifecycle Lead to go through the data and begin understanding performance metrics, A/B test results and next steps. Ideate on next week's campaign themes.
- Friday : Adapt assets for social/ads if needed, refine templates, and finalize any QA for the following week's sends.
Some days will be design-heavy , others will be execution and meeting focussed and others will center on briefing and ideation .
Qualifications- 12 years of experience in email marketing, design, or campaign production.
- Proficiency in Figma for designing and iterating layout (we would like to see a portfolio of existing design work - email or not!)
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo
- Strong writing skills for creative briefs and subject line ideation.
- Attention to detail and understanding of responsive design for email.
- Some understanding of data and metric performance.
