**The Opportunity**
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for clinical operations? We're looking for a Clinical Operations Area Head to lead and oversee clinical trial execution across multiple countries in Canada & EMEA. In this senior leadership role, you will act as the bridge between country clinical operations teams and global study leadership, ensuring our studies are delivered with excellence in performance, quality, and speed. You'll drive operational excellence and compliance while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
+ Lead multi-country clinical trial delivery: Oversee trial execution across your area, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and efficient study delivery.
+ Champion operational excellence: Proactively identify and remove barriers, implementing solutions that enable faster, smoother study delivery.
+ Advocate for countries: Represent the needs and perspectives of country teams in global forums, making sure their voices are heard.
+ Drive performance through data: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities, using data-driven insights to optimize trial execution.
+ Forge strong partnerships: Collaborate with other functional heads, senior leaders, and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives and ensure clinical trial success.
**Who You Are**
You are a proven leader with a strong background in clinical research and a track record of successfully leading (multi-)country team(s). You excel at managing complexity and influencing without direct authority in a matrixed environment. You are a strategic and analytical thinker who is committed to operational excellence and dedicated to developing people.
You have the following qualifications:
+ Significant and broad experience in clinical research,particularly in regional or global trial operations.
+ A proven track record of leading (multi-)country clinical teams and achieving high-performance outcomes.
+ Strong people leadership, coaching, and development skills.
+ Experience in using performance metrics and data-driven decision-making to guide strategy and execution.
+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-cultural capabilities.
+ An advanced degree in a related field (PhD, MD, PharmD, or MSc is preferred).
