**What you will be doing:**
+ Assist with energy efficiency, electrification, distributed energy resources, and decarbonization potential studies, program planning, advisory research and support, preparation of fillings and other regulatory support for US and Canadian utilities and/or government agencies?
+ Assist with developing and designing innovative program strategies?
+ Conduct market research on various energy efficiency technologies including measure adoption, saturation, feasibility, etc. ?
+ Advanced energy saving calculations and economic analyses for the residential and commercial sectors supporting utility programs?

**What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):?**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with demonstrated interest and in sustainability, building energy efficiency, building science, and/or renewables , or related subjects?
+ 5+ years of related energy industry experience or academic equivalent that includes experience in energy consulting, energy management, building science, DSM program potential studies, regulatory support, DSM program design, and/or program implementation ?
**What we would like you to have:**
+ Graduate degree in engineering, specializing in sustainability, building science, and/or energy policy?
+ In depth understanding of energy efficiency technologies, economic valuation (NPV, IRR, etc.), and utility cost-effectiveness tests
+ Knowledge of energy policy and regulation, especially related to DSM and other distributed energy resources?

About the Position
The Lead Energy Market Analyst, part of the Americas – Data and Insights team, will support Energy Exemplar's growth in North America by identifying customer use cases, shaping go-to-market strategies, and providing thought leadership. Acting as a subject matter expert, they will understand customer challenges, propose solutions and develop products using Energy Exemplar tools and dataset.
The role is heavily focused on modelling, requiring expertise in energy market fundamentals. The analyst will build and oversee production of energy market models using PLEXOS. Candidates should have strong modelling skills, fundamental nodal modelling experience, customer engagement abilities, and a proactive, adaptable mindset.
- Hands on modeling experience in several ISOs (eg ERCOT)
- Experience with nodal power flow modeling and ability to discuss nodal concept such as LMPs, congestion, contingencies, LODF, etc.
- Self-Starter and ability to work independently
- 7+ years of experience with direct Energy Modeling and Power Market Analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and learn new techniques
- Experience in creating and analyzing energy data sets for power models

Your Role as Intermediate Electrical Engineer
In your role as an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, reporting to the Manager of Power Systems Engineering Services, you are responsible for performing engineering design and studies for various electrical distribution and substation projects (from 600V up to 230kV voltage levels). This includes preparing electrical protection and control design deliverables, and/or physical layouts for medium and high voltage substations. You will also establish project strategy, review drawings, and ensure elements of design and detailing adhere to jurisdictional requirements and will liaise with all key stakeholders.
Your Key Accountabilities
- Technical and Documentation
- Independently prepares and verifies complex technical calculations.
- Designs distribution systems utilizing client standards including bill of materials, yard layouts, plans, sections and details, grounding, ground grid, control building arrangements, interior and exterior raceways, auxiliary AC and DC power systems and cable lists.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of related low/medium/high voltage power distribution experience is required
- A degree in electrical engineering is required
- Registered with PEO, and holds a Professional Engineering License (P.Eng), or equivalent in Canada.
- Substation design experience considered an asset
- Familiarity with power systems including power systems studies (load flow and protective device coordination using Easypower, SKM and ETAP), project scopes, project schedules and deliverables
- Knowledge of engineering standards, codes and guidelines
- Strong industrial experience, with experience in surface and underground mining
- Knowledge of mining-related processes is a definite asset
- Able to work independently and in a team environment to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites applications.

Job Summary:
The Power Systems Protection and Control Technician will perform the wiring, programing, troubleshoot protection and control systems as well as preparing construction/electrical drawings. Individual should be able to demonstrate working knowledge of the Electrical Power Distribution and Utility in the Province of Ontario. Will be required to work in the field and office on various medium and high voltage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing construction/electrical drawings.
- Wiring, programing, troubleshoot protection and control systems
- Assist with field construction, testing and maintenance.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.

Qualifications:
