In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to optimize building performance and guide strategic planning for asset renewal and decarbonization. You'll be part of a team actively influencing building standards, policies, and best practices nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Immediate Impact

  • Lead building recommissioning initiatives by reviewing design documentation, assessing system performance, and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Diagnose energy and performance issues in mechanical and electrical systems, and develop evidence-based, actionable solutions.
  • Balance occupant comfort, operational efficiency, compliance, and system resilience in your recommendations.

Shape Long-Term Change

  • Support clients in strategic decarbonization planning, aligning emissions goals with infrastructure renewal and capital investment cycles.
  • Lead and contribute to applied research projects and knowledge development efforts that inform better design, construction, and operational practices.
  • Develop tools, templates, and performance benchmarks to guide project delivery and regulatory compliance.
  • Present insights and recommendations to a range of stakeholders — from technical teams to executive leadership.
