**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking **Capital Projects Energy Support - Airport Project** to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of **Mississauga.** We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
**Major Responsibilities:**
+ Advises on strategic approaches to effectively achieve clean energy goals across program initiatives.
+ Evaluates and identifies optimal clean energy solutions, including power purchase agreements, direct purchases, and joint ventures.
+ Supports the development of the airport energy hub concept and fosters innovation in clean energy, including hydrogen and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) projects and studies.
+ Provides guidance on optimizing utility distribution for both existing and new assets to maximize efficiency and asset utilization.
+ Analyzes utility data to generate insights and reports for departments and management, highlighting viable alternative energy options for power and supply needs.
**Qualifications**
**Preferred Requirements:**
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:
+ Recognized degree in engineering, planning, or energy-related field + 4 years of relevant experience in engineering, planning, or an energy-related field.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Demonstrated success in achieving energy-related outcomes within the sector; experience with large-scale, complex programs is considered a valuable asset.
+ Extensive experience in energy and utility planning for significant capital infrastructure projects.
+ Proficient in assessing distributed energy resources, including solar photovoltaic systems and battery energy storage solutions.
+ Specialized knowledge in medium-voltage utility system planning, with expertise in microgrid design and SCADA system integration.
+ Thorough understanding and practical application of relevant energy codes, regulations, and industry standards.
**Additional Information**
This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.

Position Overview:

RWDI is seeking a dynamic individual to join its Sustainability team as a Senior Energy Consultant, preferably in our Toronto office (but we are open to consider our Guelph and Vancouver office locations). This is a full-time permanent position.


Key Responsibilities

The role includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Develop building performance simulations and analyze results to guide the design of new and existing buildings.
  • Advise clients, design teams, and team members of high-performance building strategies that will contribute to their successful pursuit of goals such as certification under LEED, Passive House, Zero Carbon or compliance under OBC, Toronto Green Standard, and BC Energy Step Code.
  • Communicate findings through reports, emails, presentations, calls, and in-person meetings.
  • Responsible for continual development of team technical skills through mentorship of junior consultants, refinement of modelling methodologies, and ongoing research of codes, programs, standards and various other emerging sustainability issues and technologies.
  • Prepare compliance documentation for various building performance codes, programs, and incentives.
  • Opportunity to develop and deliver presentations on technical topics internally and externally (e.g., lunch-and-learn, webinar) and lead sustainability and energy design workshops.
  • Perform other technical analysis and research as necessary to support the sustainability and energy modelling team: enclosure effective thermal performance calculations, performing daylight simulation, thermal comfort analysis, renewable energy generation potential, GHG accounting, life cycle assessments, and building resilience studies.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Candidates will be primarily evaluated on their possession of the following qualifications, skills, knowledge, and experience. Please ensure you are clearly articulating these points in your application:

  • 5 + years of building energy performance modelling and consulting experience.
  • Our primary simulation tool is IES Virtual Environment. Applied experience with this software package is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with an equivalent energy modelling software (EnergyPlus, Open Studio, etc.) will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical HVAC systems and controls and their impact on overall energy efficiency and carbon performance.
  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree related to buildings, HVAC or energy efficiency.
  • Credentials such as CEM, BEMP, or BESA will be considered. P. Eng is strongly preferred. 
  • In depth knowledge of building design and construction processes, codes, and standards as well subjects such as HVAC systems and design, energy analysis methods, modelling tools and capabilities, sustainable design principles, thermal science (e.g. heat transfer, fluid dynamics), and daylight/lighting/electrical design.
  • Experience with Business development and supporting proposal work.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the full sales cycle — from identifying and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing subscription contracts.
  • Focus on renewable energy producers and airports across North America.
  • Create and deliver tailored sales pitches that speak to client needs and ROI.
  • Develop long-term client relationships to maximize renewals and upsells.
  • Stay ahead of market trends to identify new SaaS growth opportunities.
  • Bring fresh ideas and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What You Bring:
  • 2+ years in B2B SaaS subscription sales or business development.
  • Proven hunter mentality with a track record of hitting targets.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter attitude with a results-driven mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent English (essential for our markets). Spanish or French is a plus.
  • Bonus if you understand the renewable energy market.

Ce que tu feras :
  • Gérer l’ensemble du cycle de vente — de l’identification des prospects à la signature des contrats d’abonnement.
  • Cibler les producteurs d’énergie renouvelable et les aéroports à travers l’Amérique du Nord.
  • Créer et présenter des argumentaires de vente adaptés aux besoins des clients et axés sur le retour sur investissement.
  • Développer des relations à long terme afin de maximiser les renouvellements et les opportunités d’upsell.
  • Rester à l’affût des tendances du marché pour identifier de nouvelles opportunités de croissance SaaS.
  • Apporter des idées nouvelles et contribuer à une culture d’amélioration continue et d’innovation.

Ce que tu apportes :
  • 2 ans ou plus d’expérience en ventes SaaS B2B ou en développement des affaires.
  • Un véritable esprit de chasseur·se, avec un historique de succès dans l’atteinte des objectifs.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en présentation.
  • Une attitude proactive et un esprit axé sur les résultats.
  • Un diplôme universitaire en administration, finance, ingénierie ou une expérience équivalente.
  • Maîtrise de l’anglais (essentiel pour nos marchés) ; l’espagnol ou le français est un atout.
  • Un plus si tu comprends le secteur de l’énergie renouvelable.

The Role
The Energy Management Consultant is responsible for in-home sales of furnaces, air conditioners, and IAQ products. This position is home-based.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for building long-term customer relationships.
  • Responsible for working effectively with all other channels.
  • Accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of customer-based utilization services for equipment selection, sizing, quoting, selling to the customer, and ensuring that the same is installed in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Responsible for conducting canvassing and selling to new and existing customers.
Qualifications:
  • An undergraduate degree in Business Administration (or equivalent experience) paired with 3-5 years in a sales role, preferably in-home and customer-facing. Industry sales knowledge is a plus.
  • Preferred HRAI Certification for HVAC programs and designs.
