Our client, a major oil and gas producer, is seeking an experienced Well Site Supervisor to oversee field operations on conventional natural gas wells in Northern British Columbia. This position requires strong leadership, sound technical judgment, and proven experience managing well site activities safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site supervision of completions, workovers, and maintenance activities on natural gas wells.
- Ensure strict compliance with company safety policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
- Oversee and coordinate service providers, contractors, and equipment at the well site.
- Monitor well operations, including snubbing, slickline, and other intervention activities.
- Manage high H₂S environments with strong focus on hazard awareness, emergency response, and protective protocols.
- Prepare accurate daily reports, cost tracking, and operational documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to plan and execute safe and efficient well programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years oil & gas experience, with at least 5 years as a Well Site Supervisor.
- Extensive knowledge of conventional natural gas operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Valid Well Service Blowout Prevention (BOP) certification and other required industry tickets (e.g., H₂S Alive, First Aid, CSTS).

Our client is looking for an experienced Engineer to support operations at their natural gas facility near Fort St John. The successful candidate will bring 5–10 years of engineering experience, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take ownership of projects from start to finish. Candidates must be local to either Fort St John or Dawson Creek as no camp or accommodations will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering projects from concept through to completion, with a strong focus on documentation and project coordination.
- Prepare, review, and approve technical reports, drawings, and project paperwork.
- Provide engineering expertise and “stamping” capabilities in compliance with British Columbia regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives at the plant through technical problem-solving and innovation.
- Ensure all work complies with regulatory, safety, and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical/Process preferred; Mechanical, Civil, or other disciplines considered).
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with stamping authority in British Columbia (mandatory).
- 5–10 years of engineering experience, ideally in natural gas, oil & gas, or related heavy industry.
- Strong project management skills and experience handling technical paperwork and regulatory documentation.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently without close supervision.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
