Responsabilités :
• Concevoir, planifier, prototyper et valider des systèmes mécaniques (ex. : mouvement linéaire, électromécanique, thermique).
• Concevoir en prenant en compte les contraintes de fabrication (pièces usinées, pièces en tôle, etc.).
• Assister les équipes produit et ingénierie dans le processus de certification.
• Collaborer avec les équipes design, chaîne d'approvisionnement, production, produit et support client pour garantir la performance et la fiabilité du système.
• Contribuer, en collaboration avec l’équipe de rédaction technique et les responsables produits, à la création d'une documentation sur le fonctionnement des systèmes mécaniques et leurs diagnostics.
• Développer et exécuter des plans de test et de validation au niveau des composants et du système.
• Se tenir informé des dernières avancées en technologie de fabrication additive et comprendre en profondeur le fonctionnement des machines.

Exigences :
• Diplôme en génie mécanique.
• 2+ ans d’expérience pertinente en production à faible ou moyen volume.
• Connaissance des normes de certification et de conformité des produits (CE, ETL, TUV, CSA, UL).
• Capacité à utiliser des équipements d'inspection courants (outils et instruments de mesure) pour évaluer la qualité et la viabilité des produits.
• Expérience avec SolidWorks ou un logiciel de CAO similaire.
• Expérience avec les systèmes PLM et de gestion documentaire.

Main responsibilities
- Utilize Solidworks Flow Simulation software to design electronic cooling strategies for use in consumer products.
- Design, analyze, prototype, and validate various cooling system components such aspassive/active heatsinks, heat spreaders, and cooling fan systems.
- Coordinate with component suppliers on prototype creation, tooling design, and productionmanufacturing logistics.

Job Description
We are seeking skilled and motivated professionals of all experience levels to join our team as Data Center Mechanical Commissioning Engineers (CxEs). The Mechanical CxE will commission mechanical systems in data centers, ensuring they meet top performance and reliability standards. This role requires a deep understanding of mission-critical environments, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Activities will include but are not limited to testing and/or validation of chillers, water loops/components, cooling distribution equipment, air handling units (AHUs), air conditioning units, fan coil units (FCUs), pumps, heat exchangers, cooling towers, humidification systems and Building Management and Automation Systems (BMS).
Note, The Mechanical CxE should also have knowledge of the electrical components involved in the above mechanical systems, including electrical motors (for pumps, fans, and compressors), motor control centers (MCCs), automatic transfer switches (ATSs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), Control Panels, and electrical supply systems. This role involves supporting data center construction/commissioning activities, so working hours may include nights and/or weekends.
This is an onsite, client-facing role that may require approximately 90% or more travel to various client locations.
Education
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, equivalent professional experience or experience in a related field (including but not limited to mechanical field service technician, data center technician or military).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct commissioning activities for mechanical systems, their electrical components and BMS systems in data centers.
- Create and implement detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 systems.
- Review and evaluate design documents, submittals, and equipment specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, functional performance tests, and system verifications.
- Witness testing of all equipment during commissioning and validate sequence of operations.
- Work closely with project teams, including contractors, engineers, and data center operators.
- Help accomplish team goals both on-site and remotely as necessary.
- Diagnose and resolve system performance, reliability, and safety issues.
- Document results/findings and generate comprehensive commissioning reports.
- Provide support to data center staff on system operation and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Attend project meetings and offer technical expertise as needed to help accomplish team goals.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Skilled in using commissioning software and tools, including MS Office Suite; Mid-Level and Experienced-Level candidates should also be proficient with Procore and CxAlloy.
- Ability to travel to different data center locations as needed.
Experience Levels
- Entry-Level: 0-1 years of experience in commissioning or a related field, with a focus on mission-critical facilities.
- Mid-Level: 2-5 years of experience with demonstrated project management capabilities and a solid understanding of data center systems.
- Experienced-Level: 6+ years of experience, with extensive knowledge of complex mission-critical systems and leadership experience.
