**Job Description**
Our Core Banking Platform team is accountable for the end-to-end technology solutions for the TD Loans and Mortgages application. Our technology stack is primarily hosted on IBM mainframe system utilizing Cobol, DB2, IMS, JCL and SAS.
Lead the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS). May also be accountable for complex programming / coding.
+ Requires IBM Mainframe applications systems knowledge and business knowledge. Ability to support a range of initiatives varying in size, complexity and scope.
+ Act as an application SME through the design and development lifecycle ensuring alignment with Architecture.
+ Lead the creation of solution options and ultimately a comprehensive end-to-end solution. Co-ordinate relevant stakeholders, as required to support development initiatives.
+ Provide estimates for new projects and initiatives for the development / design component of the overall plan.
+ Consult on development of the System Requirements Specification (SRS) and apply functional knowledge of business functions to design optimal software / systems.
+ Review technical deliverables throughout detailed design and development phase to ensure quality adherence and identify gaps or redesign requirements as needed.
+ Assist in the identification of opportunities to minimize cost, provide recommendations and/or deliver corresponding strategic solutions to support cost effectiveness and to enhance stakeholder experience.
+ Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality, standards compliance, reusability and ease of maintenance.
+ Ensure design leverages existing reusable components and has traceability to business requirements and ensure new modules are designed with reusability as a key requirement.
+ Provide technical support for escalated incidents / outages to ensure that they are resolved efficiently with minimal impact to stakeholders.
+ Continuously enhance knowledge / expertise in own area and keep current with leading edge technologies, emerging trends / developments and grow expertise of the business, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques.
+ Become a subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge and understanding of technical environment, business processes and procedures, as well as broader organizational and technology issues.
+ Support test phases with environment setup, test case preparation and defect remediation.
+ Support deployment phase with implementation planning, verification and incident resolution.
+ Some pager and/or on-call support. Some off-hour support for deployments.
**Qualifications / Skills / Experience**
Expert knowledge of the IBM mainframe technical environment/ tools (ex. COBOL, DB2, SQL, IMS, JCL, SAS, TSO, other mainframe tools) is required.
+ 7+ years experience in IBM Mainframe application design and development.
+ Advanced to expert knowledge of application design and development tools and methodologies (e.g. TSO, IDz, Endevor, Netron).
+ Knowledge of the TDBFG environment including TDCT TS mainframe applications and processes.
+ Ability to derive system processes, impacts, business rules, from existing mainframe system code base.
+ Strong knowledge and experience in the use of Agile methodology.
+ Advanced MS Office skills, esp. MS Excel for data analysis. Jira and Confluence experience.
+ Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
+ Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team and with Business and Technology partners at all levels of the organization.

**Job Description:**
Provide a broad range of data engineering functions including data modeling, data quality, data profiling, data acquisition and ingestion, extract transform load (ETL), metadata enrichment and management, data provenance and lineage, and other specialized data management functions.
**CUSTOMER**
+ Perform data analysis and assess data management requirements for a specific Platform or Journey, including complex analysis involving multiple pods or products

PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
The Mechanical Engineer III is responsible for providing overall guidance to a team of engineers, scientists and prototype production employees that are engaged in the design, development, manufacture and test evaluation of advanced lightweight combat helmets. Working as a liaison between design teams, management and customer representatives, the Mechanical Engineer III utilizes their broad expertise to provide technical insights and lead the team to successfully achieve their technical, schedule and cost management goals. The Mechanical Engineer III will participate in the development of design concepts using CAD tools, mock-ups and prototypes, including the validation of designs thru analysis, testing and trials. They will be a key member of the design and engineering teams and will participate in the new product development and product improvement efforts of the company. They will work alongside with the other departments to establish the design brief, including the concept, performance and production constraints and criteria to ensure manufacturability, durability and performance of the products. The Mechanical Engineer III will liaise with process and tool engineering, supply chain and operations to ensure transition of the designs into mass production. Within the Design Engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer III will be the Subject Matter Expert regarding technical documentation and specifications, drafting standards and GD&T. They will mentor junior Mechanical Engineers in the development of their capabilities, expertise and mastery of engineering best practices.

Experience in one or more of the following industries: automotive, robotics, or logistics.
Experience in data analysis of test results including probability and statistical analysis techniques.
Experience working in Supply Chain systems or logistics technology.
Exposure to Fleet Management platforms or operational tools.
Background in start-up environments, especially during periods of rapid growth or scaling.
Compensation Range: $115K - $135K
