Job Description:
- Operate heavy equipment, clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, secure special attachments to equipment.
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment, perform minor repairs to equipment.
- Execute high volume production.
- Fine grading and finishing.
- When required, assist other operators, labourers, and trades.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks for equipment.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator required.
- CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level 2 are required.
- You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and work positively within a team to achieve a common goal.
- A reliable means of transportation is required.
- A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
- Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.

Chew Contracting, a Ralmax Company has an immediate opening for a qualified, experienced heavy equipment operator to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia. We are looking for an operator with experience in deep excavations and shoring support.
Operators at Chew Contracting have opportunities to work within multiple divisions throughout the company and the security of several long-term contracts already secured with the CRD, BC Hydro and the federal government. Applicants should be capable of operating an excavator, and have experience digging deep excavations, shoring support, footing prep, utilities installation/trenching, roadbuilding, etc.
Experience operating backhoe is considered an asset.

THOAR Mining provides a wide variety of services in the support and operation of mining, ranging from project management, supervision, underground construction, maintenance, and mining equipment operation.
We have an immediate need for highly motivated, safety conscious Underground Mine Operators / Equipment Operators for a Potash project with our client at Vanscoy, SK (near Saskatoon, SK) for a 4+ months duration with an opportunity for extension to different projects. Expected start date mid/end August.
You will need to be available to work 12 hour shifts with the ability to work all nights on a 1/1 rotation.

- Carry out the duties of a Mine Operator safely, efficiently and as a collaborative team player;
