OverviewWe are seeking a Manager, Financial Modelling & Analytics to play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s capital allocation strategy and long-term growth trajectory. In this highly visible position, you will design and lead sophisticated analytics that influence how we invest, manage risk, and unlock value across our portfolio.
This role goes far beyond traditional FP&A: you will build advanced financial decision models, including Monte Carlo simulations and optimization frameworks, that provide the Board and executive leadership with clear, data-driven answers to complex questions. Should we deploy capital into M&A or internal projects? How much risk exposure is acceptable on a new product suite? What’s the optimal balance between growth investments and return of capital? You will bring the analytical structure to answer these questions with precision.
You will be at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations, collaborating with leaders across Corporate Development, FP&A, Treasury, and Product to ensure our capital is deployed with maximum efficiency. This is an opportunity to build decision-making frameworks from the ground up, while presenting your findings directly to senior executives who rely on your insights to guide multi-million-dollar decisions.
Key Responsibilities 1. Design & Optimize Financial Decision Models- Build and refine optimization models (e.g., linear programming, Excel Solver) to support capital planning, budget allocation, and resource optimization across business units.
- Develop risk-weighted analytics that clearly communicate potential upside and downside exposure to senior leadership.
- Build dynamic scenario-based models to assess the impact of macroeconomic factors (market trends, inflation, regulatory changes) on investments, M&A, and capital strategy.
- Apply Monte Carlo simulation techniques to forecast variability and improve the resilience of capital allocation decisions.
- Provide decision frameworks for capital allocation at the Board and executive level, including ROI, loss-rate assumptions, and probability-adjusted outcomes.
- Partner with FP&A and Corporate Development on M&A evaluations, assessing portfolio fit and financial viability.
- Translate complex analytics into intuitive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or OneStream.
- Present clear, data-backed recommendations to executives and other senior decision-makers.
- Incorporate advanced analytics into forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, working closely with the FP&A team.
- Build models that align strategic initiatives with operational realities.
- Lead and support ad hoc and high-impact financial analytics projects, including product suite evaluations, loss-rate analysis, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, capital planning, or strategy, with strong hands-on modelling experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Solver, scenario analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, or OneStream.
- Knowledge of capital budgeting, investment valuation, and risk-adjusted return methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex data for senior leaders.

Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Inc. (MKO) is currently searching for a highly motivated individual to join our Indigenous Health Equity Fund (IHEF) team as a Policy Analyst. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the improvement of healthcare outcomes for First Nations communities in northern Manitoba. Working under the guidance of our IHEF Administrator and IHEF Funding Officer, the successful candidate will contribute to the research, analysis, and policy development initiatives, providing analytical insights that inform policy decisions and program development, ensuring that program initiatives are aligned with current health priorities and comply with regulatory frameworks.
Roles and Responsibilities
Policy Research & Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive research on legislative, political, socioeconomic and First Nation issues.
- Monitor local, regional, and national health policies and regulations.
- Environmental scanning and reports on local, regional, and national issues and other processes relevant to policy implications for MKO Nations.
- Providing policy and strategy development support on political issues, and political strategy recommendations.
- Analyze policy impacts on health equity and provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop clear, evidence-based reports, discussion papers, position papers, and briefings that translate into actionable pathways.
- Assist in identifying emerging trends and policy shifts that could impact MKO Nations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Liaise with policymakers, government agencies, First Nation leaders, and partner organizations to gather information and to shape policy directions.
- Prepare presentations, briefings, draft correspondence for internal and external audiences.
- Represent MKO in meetings and public forums as required.
Program Alignment:
- Ensure program initiatives are consistent with best practices and government guidelines in health policy.
- Assist in maintain policy tracking system and relevant documentation.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, research activities to ensure efficient time management and organizational priorities.

Education and Experience

Data Collection & Analysis:
- Develop tools and methodologies to collect, analyze, and interpret program data.

Reporting & Visualization:
- Generate dashboards, reports, metrics, and visualizations and processes (such as key performance indicators) that effectively communicate program performance and trends.
- Prepare written reports, briefings, and oral presentations summarizing findings, including detailed description of statistical methods, detailed analysis of results and synthesis of conclusions for a variety of audiences.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, FP&A, the Financial Analyst will support Surerus Murphy North America’s equipment operations across multiple business entities. This role will manage the financial aspects of the equipment fleet, including billing, asset lifecycle management, and reporting for equipment operations as well as supporting the Finance team.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES***:**
- Manage monthly equipment billing cycles across internal business units and projects.
- Ensure accurate application of sales tax on equipment rentals, including GST/PST in Canada and State Sales Tax in the US.
- Classify and code equipment-related expenses to appropriate assets, cost objects, and GL accounts.
- Manage intercompany transfers of costs between entities, cost centers, and assets.
- Reconcile intercompany equipment transactions amongst the various entities.
- Coordinate CAPEX budget preparation with equipment operations team and senior management, including financial modelling to support investment decisions (NPV & IRR analysis)
- Maintain capital asset registers across multiple business entities, reconciling between financial systems and operational asset management systems.
- Manage asset depreciation schedules, including asset level tracking of disposals, additions, betterments, and write downs.
- Support asset disposal processes and validate fair market values.
- Create, verify and post transactions in Explorer.
- Support Power Apps system for accurate data entry and reporting.
- Track Rental Purchase Options (RPOs) and coordinate capitalization upon exercise, support analysis of RPO valuation.
- Ensure compliance with asset import/export protocols between Canada and US.
- Prepare monthly operational financial reporting across all North American equipment companies.
