Are you someone who loves solving problems, improving systems, and making life easier for teams across the business? At Dexterra, we’re looking for a Manager, Financial Systems who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help us take our ERP and financial systems to the next level.

About the Role

The Manager, Financial Systems will lead a small but mighty team, work closely with people across finance, operations, and IT, and play a big role in shaping how we use technology to support our business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the charge on improving and expanding our ERP system (NetSuite), including adding new modules and features.
• Turning business needs into smart, practical system solutions.
• Building great relationships with teams across the company to understand their challenges and help solve them.
• Managing system changes, upgrades, and releases — and making sure everything runs smoothly.
• Supporting users with training, access, and day-to-day system questions.
• Owning our reporting framework and helping teams get the data they need.
• Working with external partners on system updates and improvements.
• Helping with audits and making sure we stay compliant.
• Keeping an eye out for ways to make our processes better and more efficient.

Who are we looking for?

• Post secondary degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin., Information Systems or related field. 
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial systems management, preferably within a multi-entity, service-based organization. 
• Proven ability to lead a multi-functional team, including team management and mentoring.
• A professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) is considered an asset.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
• Experience with NetSuite is a must; OneStream or Costpoint is a bonus.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills — you’re great at working with both technical and non-technical teams.
• A knack for project management and juggling multiple priorities. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.

We are looking for an Accountant & ERP Implementation Consultant to join our team. If you are good at assisting in maintaining financial records and analyzing data, with a solid accounting background then we want you on our team.

Duties:

• Financial analysis and Accounting engagements with clients.
• Prepare reconciliations for clients.
• Future travel opportunities to client sites in Canada and the US to complete ERP Implementations.
• Manage clients' needs and expectations to provide effective solutions and deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
• Ensure that the facilitation and implementation of the change management process is seamless.
• Assist clients with financial data migration and best practices in accordance with relevant standards.
• Recognize gaps and assist clients during User Acceptance Testing.
• Support clients in the training and adoption of these new systems.
• Collaborate directly with decision-makers to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Demonstrate the ability to align business processes and communicate with all levels of an organization with professionalism and best practice expertise.

Job Requirements:

• CPA designation and 3-5+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Strong business acumen and decision-making experience, is coachable
• Experience managing full-cycle accounting systems and policies
• Comfortable with technology
• Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from statistical data
• Experience with data management and databases
• Experience working with Excel
• A naturally curious leader with a track record for implementing process improvements, a natural problem solver
• A team player, with a desire to work in an innovative, fast-paced work environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent relationship-building skills, ability to provide exceptional consulting services to our team and clients
• Excellent time management skills
• High level of integrity, ability to handle the confidentiality of highly sensitive information
• A strong desire to continually grow through learning and professional development
• Experience with Vista by Viewpoint is desirable but not required.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience in a related field (IT, Accounting, mathematics)
• CPA Designation is Required

ERP Consultant

Key Responsibilities

- Provide specialized Vista ERP consulting services

- Assist clients in identifying areas for process improvements within their current ERP setup

- Lead efforts in problem-solving, investigation, and analyses, providing informed recommendations to clients.

- Create and maintain thorough, timely documentation related to software and analytics tasks.

- Collaborate with internal teams on technology and consulting projects, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Software integrations, and Data Warehouse initiatives

- Create customized Power Query reports for data analysis and business intelligence

- Engage in troubleshooting and issue resolution for clients, while delivering exceptional customer service

- Develop training materials and conduct Vista ERP training sessions tailored to client needs

- Assist in the creation and submission of proposals for consulting services

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Management, or a related field;

- At least 5 years of experience with ERP systems

- Previous experience in the construction industry is desirable

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a reputable consulting firm

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power Query and automation tools

- Eligible to work in Canada.
