Position Overview:

At Playground, our Cage Cashiers are among the best in the industry, providing exceptional service to our guests around the clock, ensuring seamless and secure transactions for our valued customers. We are looking for dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team and maintain the high standards we’re known for.

Availability: Flexibility is key. Our 24/7 operation requires candidates who can work up to 5 shifts per week, including evenings, overnight, and weekends.

Training Commitment: All candidates must be available for a paid training period of up to 4 weeks, which includes day shifts.

Application Process:

  • Applicants will be asked to complete a math skills test without the use of a calculator or cell phone.
  • Those who succeed will have a criminal and credit check processed. 
  • Once approved, you’ll be scheduled for Cage Cashier School (group training) during regular business hours. Training may last up to 4 weeks.

Compensation: Training is paid at a rate of $16 25 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle cash tickets, coins, or chips for customers and team members.
  • Handle large amounts of money (accounting for total funds received throughout the day and closing numbers).
  • Exchange foreign currency for customers.
  • Operate any and all office devices (ex. computer, calculators, and money counter machines).
  • Identify and accurately deal with different denominations (chips, cash currency, POS terminal).
  • Maintain accountability over a cashier drawer and balance it at the end of shift.
  • Perform all duties in a confidential manner, and in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Maintain database (updating customer records and flagging of duplicate accounts).
  • Assist in counting and balancing all revenue related tasks.
  • Have knowledge of the regulations, policies, and procedures relating to the Cage department.
  • Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
  • Report illegal activity to Security and Surveillance or appropriate levels of Management.

Requirements:

  • Strong mathematical ability is essential
  • Experience as a cashier is essential
  • Ability to remain standing (and/or sitting) for the majority of shift
  • Must be able to withstand varying levels of crowds and noise levels
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow team members
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Flexibility with scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays, special events, and extended hours)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with experience of business specific software or computer applications preferred
  • Fluency in English and French (written/spoken)

Engagement pour la formation :

Processus de recrutement :

Responsabilités:

  • Gérer les billets de caisse, pièces de monnaie ou jetons pour les clients et les membres de l’équipe.
  • Manipuler d’importantes sommes d’argent (tenue de compte des fonds reçus durant la journée et des chiffres de clôture).
  • Échanger de la monnaie étrangère pour les clients.
  • Utiliser tous les appareils de bureau (ex. : ordinateur, calculatrice, compteuse de billets/pièces).
  • Reconnaître et gérer avec précision les différentes dénominations (jetons, billets, terminal de point de vente).
  • Assurer la responsabilité de son tiroir-caisse et en faire le balancement en fin de quart.
  • Exécuter toutes les tâches de façon confidentielle et en conformité avec les lois et règlements en vigueur.
  • Maintenir la base de données (mise à jour des dossiers clients et signalement des comptes en double).
  • Aider à compter et balancer toutes les tâches liées aux revenus.
  • Connaître les règlements, politiques et procédures en lien avec le département de la Cage.
  • Consulter les procédures de contrôle interne et les manuels de politiques au besoin.
  • Signaler toute activité illégale à la Sécurité, à la Surveillance ou à la direction appropriée.

  • Solides compétences en mathématiques essentielles

- Define, review and enforce all work processes (associated with various roles) related to erection of the concrete segments as well as defining and enforcing all applicable work safety standards and requirements
- Prepare engineering calculations and plans for segment lifting and placement processes and complete risk analysis for each process and phase
- Establish and enforce all site methods, kinematics of erection, work procedures, inspection and test plans, risk analysis
- Confirm that erection activities are completed in accordance with most recently approved engineering (ie. construction) plans and, in collaboration with the Erection Manager,
- Ensure that all corresponding equipment and technical resources have been secured to complete the erection phases in accordance with the approved plans
- Complete regular structural surveys and site inspections throughout entire erection phases of project in collaboration with the Erection Manager
- Prepare the purchasing request which are related to technical and engineering services, in accordance with internal guidelines and procedures
- Co-ordinate and track all activity, equipment, personnel, material and other resources related to erection processes and provide regular reports on the same—including consumption of materials, wear on equipment, etc.
- Monitor erection activities as they relate to compliance with RDLC-established and defined Quality Assurance/Quality Control Standards and applicable regulatory requirements such as environmental and zoning restrictions
- Identify and resolve any field issues or discrepancies in coordination with design teams
- Provide technical support and guidance to field crews during precast installation
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation for project meetings and client updates
- Liaise with the Erection Manager, other Erection personnel, project’s Engineering department, segment casting and transport functions personnel and the Project Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in precast concrete erection coordination or structural installation on construction sites
- Strong understanding of precast concrete systems, erection methods, and construction safety
- Proficient in reading and interpreting structural and shop drawings
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Crown’s Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, and teas as well as new energy drinks. Crown Beverage leads the packaging industry with innovative technologies that redefine how the world looks at beverage cans. Position overview:

Wages:  Pay is determined by Union contract starting at $35.5799/hour for electricians, with growth potential depending on license/certifications. This position is a straight nights position which offers an additional 5% shift differential.

Accountabilities

  • Crown Beverage Packaging is currently seeking a qualified Electrician in our industrial manufacturing facility located in Mankato, Minnesota. 
  • li >This position will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electrical/electronic systems within this high-speed metal packaging manufacturing facility.
  • Responsibilities include following all local, state, and federal electrical codes. 
  • li >Documentation of problems and maintenance of equipment, operation and safety precautions.  li >Responsibilities also include installing and maintaining new and existing electrical wiring within the facility as well as working safely at all times.  li >Maintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites, while practicing appropriate safety procedures.  li >Must have the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion and regularly stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.  This position may also require climbing or balancing. 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following: 

    High school graduate with electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment or applicable education. (Trade school, apprenticeship, etc.)
  • Applicants with a background in robotics, PLC troubleshooting, or mechatronics are encouraged to apply.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, sensors, controls and computer technology.
  • Ability to read, interpret and create electrical diagrams.
  • An applied understanding of the NEC and general electrical safety.
  • Strong team player and ability to function well and work safely with other people.
  • Working knowledge of single and three phase systems up to 480 volts.
  • Solid understanding of systematic troubleshooting.
  • Committed to working safely.
  • Reliable, proactive and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Must be able to work twelve (12) hour shifts on nights.

    < i >Generally works in a plant environment but will be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic 
  • li >May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures based on the outside temperatures
  • The noise level is frequently loud
