About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization’s computer networks and related infrastructure. The Network Administrator will ensure the availability, security, and performance of network systems while providing technical support to staff and collaborating with IT teams on system upgrades and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and systems (routers, switches, firewalls, servers, VPNs, etc.).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with organizational policies.
- Implement and oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Implement network automation and monitoring tools (e.g., FortiManager, Meraki Dashboard SNMP).
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for critical systems.
- Collaborate with IT staff to plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and technology improvements.
- Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security best practices and compliance.
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and security best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, or macOS server environments.
- Familiarity with Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, and Zscaler technologies
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Professional Credentials you Posses
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- CCNP, CCIP or equivalent certification
Skills and Experience You Posses
- 5 or more years ofdemonstratedexperience in network administration, design, deployment, and security.
- Designing, installing, monitoring, securing, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN including high-availability design, switching, routing, load balancing, firewalls, SAN, VLAN, VPN/SDWAN, WAP, and cabling/patching
- Working in a NOC whichmonitorsand troubleshoots network performance (uptime, QoS) with tools such asWireshark, CACI, MRTG, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.
- Familiarity with open-source network security and enterprise monitoring tools such Snort, Suricata, Zeek/Bro, Sysmon, ELK, etc.
- Proficiencyin troubleshootinglarge multi-tier multi-segmented networks in a complex WAN environment
- Segregating networks to improve security and performance.
- Developing,

The Opportunity
Were looking for aSenior Network & M365 Platform Administrator to strengthen our network reliability, security, and performance across a multisite environment. You will engineer and operate site networks, internet egress, and cloud connectivity - while advancing zerotrust/SASE controls and our disaster recovery posture. Youll collaborate closely with our existing senior network talent and trusted partners to keep clinicians and contact centers online and protected.
Periodic travel to key clinics will be required.
What youll do
- Own network reliability for multisite clinics and officesacross provinces: routing/switching, site cutovers, Wi-Fi, and WAN optimization.
- Lead secure internet egress and SASEoperations and rollout (policy, posture, troubleshooting, user experience), and mature our zerotrust program.
- Engineer and administer SharePoint Online: tenantlevel settings, site provisioning standards, hub architecture, permissions model, lifecycle, and external sharing governance - integrated with Entra/Conditional Access and M365 Admin baselines.
- Mentor junior admins in their execution of projects and help develop their administration capabilities.
- Administer and evolve network infrastructure:
(policy design, HA, segmentation, upgrades, cloud connectivity, and vendor coordination) with a focus on security and simplification. - Harden Microsoft 365/Entra access from a network perspective:(Conditional Access interactions, device posture signals, secure admin access paths).
- Collaborate with IT leadership to cocreate and manage the annual IT budget, providing input on network, cloud, security, and collaboration investments to align with business priorities and growth plans.
- Administer and maintain the onpremises virtualized environment:(VMware/HyperV): monitor performance, manage networking integration, patch hosts, and ensure alignment with DR and security standards.
- Contribute to DR and business continuity planning:(network dependencies, runbooks, testing, and recovery patterns).
- Partner with trusted vendors/consultantsto accelerate outcomes while maintaining Careica standards and knowledge transfer.
- Plan and lead technical projects by collaborating with business stakeholders, developing comprehensive project and rollback plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and providing clear communication on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Provide tier2 escalation:drive rootcause analysis and preventive improvements.

- 8+ years in enterprise networking withmultisiteoperations and change leadership including:
- Project management (project planning, communication plans, risk registers, rollback planning)
- Executive-targeted communication (high quality, speaking their language)
- Microsoft 365/Entra administration (Conditional Access interactions, device trust, identitydriven policies).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with front-line clinical staff, management, and vendors.
