**THE ROLE** : The Field Service Technician Level 1 will be responsible for start-up and commissioning of projects, preventative maintenance, and basic submersible wastewater pump (Flygt) and control panel troubleshooting at customer sites. Product specific training will be provided. Will interact with customers.

**Summary of the Role**
Seeking an experienced Conveyor Belting Technician who is mechanically inclined. Performs splices and installation on various types of conveyor belts and components to meet customer and industry requirements. Performs other field service and warehouse tasks, as trained and required. Reports to Field Service Supervisor or Manager.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Field Service Representative to support a strategic customer located in Montreal, reporting to the Manager of Fleet Operators and Service Program Management.
In your role, you will:
- Support customer in integrating Bombardier business aircraft into their operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Provide robust troubleshooting support to assist customers in resolving technical issues effectively
- Prioritize and escalate technical or operational concerns within both the customer's organization and Bombardier
- Provide informal training and share technical, operational, and logistical insights related to aircraft operation and maintenance
- Keep Bombardier management informed of key operational and maintenance issues affecting customer aircraft
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer procedures and operations involving Bombardier aircraft
- Encourage customers to implement Bombardier-recommended actions that improve product performance and satisfaction by sharing Airworthiness Directives (AW), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other relevant Bombardier documentation to clarify intent and highlight operational enhancements
- Deliver reports in line with established schedules and requirements
- Lead or support field teams during modification retrofits, product upgrades, and damage repairs at customer facilities or service centres
- Navigate and utilize Bombardier's internal customer support and in-service processes effectively
- Identify and escalate recurring fleet issues to Bombardier Technical Services for potential product improvements
- Participate in customer meetings, including fleet reliability and operational reviews
- Travel to service facilities as needed to oversee complex troubleshooting or upon customer request
**How to thrive in this role?**
- You have at least 5 years of aviation maintenance experience
- You have at least 2 years of experience with Bombardier products (Global 5000 / 6000 / 7500 series, Challenger 350, Challenger 650)
- You have strong aircraft troubleshooting skills
- You have computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications
