Provides point of contact support and development on all Avmax Financial systems. Takes lead role on Company Performance Management Software, Budget logistics and Financial Reporting Improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

Magna's Financial Reporting Systems department is currently responsible for the management and support of the OneStream suite of applications used by Magna's global finance users to prepare and present consolidated financial information for both internal and external users. This position will join the team responsible for the administration of Magna's OneStream Consolidation, Month End Close and Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting applications.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage integrations, data quality processes, and metadata updates from source ERP systems to OneStream.
  • Provide technical and functional support for OneStream applications to end users.
  • Implement OneStream reports, dashboards, and system changes/enhancements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity, security, and SOX compliant controls, coordinating with auditors as needed.
  • Identify and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely project completion and deliver critical objectives.

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial/systems analyst roles, preferably as a financial systems administrator/manager. OneStream knowledge preferred.
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT (or equivalent).
  • Experience managing OneStream Consolidation, Month End Close, and Planning, Budget, and Forecasting applications is an asset.
  • Familiarity with multiple sources of EPM data integrations and knowledge of SQL and VB.net is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and comfortable working with complex financial data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Job Description: Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager with a strong background in data and financial systems, particularly NetSuite and Looker, to join our product management team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, operations, and sales, to drive the development and improvement of our data and financial products and systems. You will act as a key liaison between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our financial systems support the company's growth objectives and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for financial and data systems and tools, focusing on enhancements and integrations with NetSuite, Looker, and other platforms.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance, operations, and IT teams to identify gaps in current financial processes and systems. Gather and document business requirements.System Improvements: Lead initiatives to optimize financial workflows, accounting processes, and reporting capabilities using NetSuite. This includes customization and integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP).Project Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to implementation and post-launch support.Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, UX, and QA teams to ensure product delivery aligns with business goals. Act as a key decision-maker throughout the development cycle.Market Research & Trends: Stay updated on financial technology trends, NetSuite upgrades, and emerging tools that could improve the company's financial management.User Training & Documentation: Lead the creation of user manuals, process documentation, and training sessions for financial system users.KPIs & Performance: Define and track key product metrics, such as system efficiency, user satisfaction, and financial reporting accuracy, to assess the success of product initiatives.Compliance & Security: Ensure that data and financial systems adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and maintain robust security protocols.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.Experience: 3+ years of product management experience, with a focus on financial systems. Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Looker is a plus.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP systems (especially NetSuite, Coupa, Onestream, Zuora and/or Stripe) and financial processes, including accounting, reporting, and budgeting. Experience with system integrations and APIs is a plus.Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Agile Methodology: Experience working within an Agile framework is preferred. Compensation and Benefits The successful candidate's actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications. You will also be eligible for a target annual bonus of 12.5% of your base salary, calculated based on personal and company performance.
