AVIATION AIRSIDE SHIFT MANAGER

A.S.P. is looking for an Airport Security Supervisor, who will take pride in becoming ambassador at the Airport and have an eye for detail, supervisory skills, and problem-solving skills. A successful candidate will be required to work with integrity, respect, and take responsibility for the security and safety at the Airport.

What you will do:

• Providing efficient supervision and supporting assigned client locations.
• Preparing and Inspecting Officers Reports as required in a neat, legible, and factual manner.
• Preparing Non-Conformance Reports for all incidents, complaints, or deficiencies discovered that affect the delivery of service to our clients.
• Inspecting all posts regularly and coordinating break relief functions for all assigned locations.
• Ensuring all guards are dressed in appropriate uniform and equipped to perform their designated function safely and efficiently.
• Compiling Daily Summary Reports from guards and submits to the Service Delivery Manager for review.
• Inspecting all posts regularly and testing site Guards on their knowledge of the Post and General Orders.
• Maintaining effective control for all issued equipment, such as client issued equipment.
• Communicating all instructions from Head Office to all security staff.
• Training new officers on-site and sharing their performance from the Operations Manager.
• Making recommendations for improvement that will increase the effectiveness or benefit the service delivery to our clients.
• Assisting the Patrol Supervisors to Coordinate break relief functions for all Site Locations.
• Ensuring copies of any G.T.A.A. Incident reports completed by guards or supervisors are submitted to G.T.A.A. security and Head Office as soon as practicable after the incident has occurred.
• Coordinating with the Service Delivery Manager to facilitate weekly silent alarm testing.
• Performing emergency response duties under the Emergency Response Manual.

Who you are:

• Minimum High School diploma or Grade 12 education.
• Minimum of two (2) years of employment with A.S.P. incorporated or five (5) years of security supervisory related experience.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Knowledgeable of Access Control, Alarm, CCTV systems, Criminal Code of Canada and Private Investigators and Security Guards Act.
• Must Possess a valid Security license, Ontario Drivers License (G or Higher) with a clean driving abstract and Basic First Aid & CPR certification and willing to provide Criminal Record check upon request.
• Excellent written & verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Able to work on nights, weekends, weekdays, and holidays
• Need to obtain an AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operating Permit)

Provide assistance during client meetings and/or audits (as required).

Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
**Job Description**
**How will you make an impact?**
Assumes a lead role in execution of Line Trial activities for new product introductions to packaging or changes to existing packaging formats and/or equipment.
Ensures the efficient completion of packaging floor activities in order to meet scheduled production deadlines. Ensures product quality meets the standards of Patheon, our clients, and applicable regulatory agencies including, but not limited to the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (HPFBI), United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA), and European Medicines Agency (EMEA).
**Shift Schedule:12 hours Continental Night shift from 7 PM - 7 AM.**
**We have 3 positions available.**
**What will you do:**
Participates and takes a lead role in the execution of the Line Trial activities using their skills and knowledge to ensure the development of robust packaging processes
Operating the packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures.
Conducting in-process testing and inspections.
Responsible for completing the activities for the preparation of the packaging line(s).
Responsible for training staff in machine operation/packaging techniques and safety issues.
Back up to Packaging Line Leaders.
Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
The position will be largely centered around a night shift pattern but may require short term availability for alternate shifts on short notice
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education:**
High school diploma or equivalent required.
**Experience:**
Minimum 4 years of previous pharmaceutical packaging and machine operating experience **.**
Must have mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting abilities.
**Equivalency:**
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
Good manual dexterity. Ability to work at line speed and with minimal supervision. Serialization functions/processes. Sound knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. Sound understanding of Standard Operating Procedures. Sound understanding of safety regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic math skills required.
Ability to make quality decisions.
Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
Proficiency with the English Language.
