**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Responsibility to build grower direct shipments (Customers).
* Responsibility to build grower to MPL facility loads from the Category Managers GSP request.
* Minimize inbound freight costs.
* Building transfers to fill Category Managers requests.
* Inform Category Managers of pushed loads (Hot items).
* Develop supply plans that meet the unique projected demand of the distribution center.
* Manage demand plan and forecast development in conjunction with Planning and Sales teams.
* Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics on forecasted inbound needs.
* Monitor and track replenishment lanes (inbounds, transfers), establishing plans to curb shortages.
* Monitor daily inventory levels and report to Category Manager any deviations from target levels
* Become familiar in leveraging the ERP system, mastering basic functions required for completing responsibilities as described
* Manage product flow from grower to facility.
* Work closely with cross functional teams such as Commodity Planning, Logistics, Inbound Procurement, Shipping and Receiving; with a focus on load priorities, product quality specifications, network analytics and operations planning to implement best practices that provide the best service to our customers at the lowest cost.
* Monitor and document site trends and customer behaviors as they relate to volumes, frequency and stability



**Education/Background Requirements:**

* College or University degree in business, analytics or supply chain required.
* One-year experience in produce industry, supply chain, planning or similar required.

Customer & Vendor Relationship Management

Administrative Support

Continuous Improvement

About You


Our ideal candidatepossesses the following qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience working in logistics and/or supply chain.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who can own the strategy and execution of all inbound and outbound logistics while also driving trade compliance improvements, customs cost optimization, and documentation workflows. You’ll manage vendor relationships, lead cost negotiations, and partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and production teams to deliver continuous improvement across the entire supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Transportation Ownership

  • Own all inbound and outbound logistics across all facilities (Canada and U.S.)
  • Manage relationships with freight carriers, brokers, and 3PLs; negotiate rates and service terms
  • Monitor on-time pickup/delivery performance, lead freight audits, and resolve issues with vendors
  • Optimize mode selection (LTL, FTL, courier, parcel, ocean/air) based on service level and cost

Cross-Border & Trade Program Management

  • Oversee all customs programs and compliance efforts including:

  • Lead trade-related documentation improvements and system integrations

Supply Chain Data & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards for freight spend, duty costs, and landed cost modeling
  • Identify sourcing or fulfillment optimizations based on freight and tariff analysis
  • Manage trade documentation accuracy, export paperwork, and shipping compliance audits

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, warehouse, finance, and sourcing teams to ensure logistics and trade processes support business goals
  • Partner with IT or systems teams to integrate trade and logistics data into ERP, WMS, or dashboards
  • Serve as the internal project lead for freight transitions, broker changes, or new route/service launches

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or trade compliance (apparel or consumer goods preferred)
  • Proven experience managing LTL/FTL carriers, freight contracts, and inbound/outbound logistics operations
  • Familiarity with Canadian and U.S. customs programs (K90, K32, duty drawback, Section 321) strongly preferred

As a member of the Construction Division within the Industrial Business Unit, the Supply Chain Specialist will provide sales and supply chain support for the Goliath roofing systems team. 




Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Responsible for administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and back-order management.

·         Manage inventory levels of all products at the location – cycle counting, managing to pre-established min/max levels.

·         Customer service-related functions such as customer inquiries via phone, email and in-person.

·         Accurately completing estimates/quotes on pricing and sourcing of products for roofing, decking and 3-ply pool projects.

·         Coordination of resources to respond to customer supply chain needs – arranging appropriate transportation and specialized equipment to ensure safe delivery of materials to customer jobsites.

·         Accounts receivable activities including receipt of payments from customers, reconciliation of invoices to purchase orders, etc.

·         Support Warehouse Manager with various tasks.

·         Operate equipment such as forklift to prepare orders for customers (Pick, Pack, Ship functions).


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

Education:   
Completion of Grade 12 at a minimum. Post-secondary education in supply chain management or equivalent relevant experience. 

Experience:
Three+ years of experience in a similar role working directly with customers.  Experience using SAP an asset.

  • Listening Skills: Lets others speak and seeks to understand their viewpoints.

  • Skilled in all Microsoft Office applications (excel, word, outlook)
  • Experience with SAP or similar type system.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work ethic: Possesses a strong willingness to work hard and do what it takes to get the job done. 

Other:

  • Usually work in an office, plant and warehouse environment, but the mission of the organization and the focus of the position will often take them to non-standard workplaces such as customer sites, or other production facilities.  
  • Regular exposure to sensitive, emotional customers regarding delivery and/or quality issues which can potentially lead to unpleasant situations. 
  • Standard 40-hour work week, but additionally will often work evening, weekends, and non-standard hours to accommodate activities without receiving additional compensation.
  • Ability to meet physical demands associated with the role.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Supply Chain Coordinator to support a wide range of supply chain functions. This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and accurate data management across our systems and warehouses.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Releasing customer orders to our warehouses for fulfillment

  • Confirming shipped orders, performing QA checks, resolving discrepancies, updating tracking information, and generating delivery notes

  • Creating custom documentation for cross-border shipments between Canada and the U.S.

  • Completing monthly inventory reviews, investigating variances, and coordinating with warehouse teams to correct and reconcile counts

  • Maintaining accurate item (SKU) data in the ERP system

  • Generating and updating regular reports, including a weekly serial number report and inventory tracking reports

  • Supporting the broader supply chain team by cross-training in purchasing and logistics functions

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and data accuracy

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset

  • Bilingual is an asset

  • Comfortable managing large datasets with a high degree of accuracy

Salary Range - $35,000 - $45,000
