Your role:
Global Relay requires a product management leader to drive significant new capabilities for our Archive product portfolio. The Group Product Manager (GPM) assumes product ownership of several critical experiences within the Global Relay Archive product line and is responsible for managing and evangelizing their product strategy, driving product innovation and excellence within their teams, working with clients and across the business to discover, define and develop differentiating customer led products and capabilities. This role will focus on our core backend platform and its services to manage enterprise data into the Archive, enable capabilities for compliance and eDiscovery, and unlock the power of AI and machine learning models. Your success will provide direct impact and value to our enterprise clients from many industries including finance, insurance, healthcare, & energy.
GPM's are also responsible for leading a number of Technical Product Managers (TPM's), defining the strategic roadmap and representing this to the business. GPM's set the direction for the team and ensure that a culture of personal growth, safety and respect persists.
Your responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for understanding how your product group fits within the wider product line to ensure business value and customer needs are delivered.
- Define the product vision, outcomes and roadmap for their product group in line with the organizational strategy and big-bets.
- Work with your partners within design, engineering, sales, marketing and customer success to discover, define and develop best in class product features and experiences.
- Understand and apply new trends and competitive best practices into their product roadmap and requirements to drive market differentiation.
- Communicate the business and customer value of your product roadmap, building consensus across multiple departments
- Responsible for the full-cycle management of their product group; including assessing the market, creating product strategy, vision and roadmap, planning releases and ensuring successful launch
- Develop appropriate tracking and reporting to analyze product performance post launch to evaluate future development opportunities
- Facilitate collaboration and alignment between cross-functional teams including other product teams, sales, marketing, customer success, design and engineering
- Collaborate effectively with Architects, and Engineering to break work down into small increments that can be released to market
- Coordinate as required cross-product dependencies
- Manage the product lifecycle, including successful launches and end-of-life activities
- Where needed, be able to document / define models, workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other suitable artefacts
- Support marketing, sales, and support through leading the development of go-to-marketing strategies and the maintenance of various technical marketing collateral
- Proactively lead your product team, promoting an inclusive and supportive culture, mentoring and supporting your team in their development
About you:
- 3+ years of demonstrable senior product management experience leading teams ideally for a SaaS, enterprise software or compliance technology company
- 8+ years of product management experience, with direct responsibility for delivering customer facing features from scratch, underpinned by micro services, internal and external API integrations
- Able to effectively interface with customers and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Experienced working with cross-functional teams that include engineering, sales, and marketing staff
- Strong product discovery capabilities, demonstrating experience in soliciting customer needs, business analysis, workflow design, domain modelling, use case modelling, and documentation
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a Lean/Agile development environment. Strong technical background is desired

Compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia's pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.
The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values. We aim to foster an inspiring work environment and support employees' work-life rhythms. We provide a comprehensive extended health benefits program, including virtual healthcare and a wellness allowance. Employees also receive annual allotted vacation days, which increase based on tenure. Why This Role MattersThe Product Marketing function will be the bridge between customer insight, product innovation, and go-to-market (GTM) excellence. As the first Senior Product Marketing Manager at Portless, you will own the narrative (and the numbers) for our core platform. Your work will set the tone for how thousands of brands understand, adopt, and champion Portless. This role will partner closely with Sale, Account Management, Customer Success, Product and Growth teams to drive adoption, revenue, and long-term success.
What You’ll Do- Craft & Own Positioning Translate the unique values and features of Portless, into differentiated messaging that resonates with Ecommerce operators and founders and is reflected in increased win-rates and engagement.
- Lead Go-to-Market Plan and execute launches (features, geographies, partnerships), orchestrating Product, Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to hit adoption and revenue targets.
- Enable Revenue Teams Build the playbooks, pitch decks, battle cards, and other enablement materials that give GTM teams the confidence to close and expand deals.
- Drive Adoption & Expansion Design and optimize multi-channel campaigns - website, email, in-product, partner co-marketing - to lift activation, stickiness, and upsell.

- Proven ability to translate technical or operational complexity into engaging narratives and clear value props.
- Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into crisp GTM fundamentals, including segmentation, buyer personas, messaging, and more.
