As a Wellness Consultant, you’re a key member of our Active Living team and you support residents to maintain an independent lifestyle that values safety and quality of life.

You’re also responsible for:

  • Leading and participating in the team approach to support residents and their family.
  • Serving as liaison to families in all matters regarding residents’ health and wellbeing.
  • Providing pre-move in screening for prospects.
  • Promoting health and wellness in our community by offering clinics, classes, and other educational resources.
  • Liaising with health authorities, families, and residents during move out process of residents.
  • Working very closely with the General Manager and Resident Services Manager, supporting timely communication and resolution of resident issues.
  • Working as a partner with the sales team to provide health and wellness expertise during the sales process.
  • Educating and informing residents and families regarding available support systems and community resources; providing information about external resources – public and private – and assisting in developing transition care plans.
  • Organizing, facilitating, and providing immunization programs as needed.
  • Assisting with move-ins and move-outs, and ensuring new residents feel welcome and comfortable.

We are seeking 1 - 2 Personal Trainers / Group Fitness Instructors to join our incredible team at F45 Legacy! The Legacy location (in the Southeast of Calgary) is one of the top-performing F45 studios, and thus we require a qualified, experienced, personable and high energy trainer. We do not necessarily require you to have prior F45 coaching experience, but we do ask that you research F45 before applying to ensure a proper fit - we want you to love what you do! Applicants' availability must have a level of flexibility to include occasional 5am start times, evenings and weekends. 

Responsibilities:

  •  Train/coach 8-12 hours/classes per week
  • Deliver a premium F45 member experience at all times
  • Correct form and offer modifications 
  • Motivate members each and every class
  • Promote a sense of community with members and staff
  • Understand and utilize member software (Mindbody booking and scheduling platform)
  • Create and implement member engagement strategies
  • Ensure members are performing exercises safely + offer exercise variations/modifications
  • Tear down and set up studio for the next day at the end of each evening shift 
  • Perform member consultations to ensure all members are being challenged at their specific fitness level
  • Drive membership retention activities (e.g. F45 Challenge)
  • Ensure the studio is impeccably maintained
  • Comprehensive list of duties provided during interview 

Qualifications:

  • Personal Trainer or group fitness certification form an accredited organization (CanFit, ACE, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in personal training or group training 
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certificate
  • Prior management/sales experience in the fitness industry is an asset
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Proficiency in social media is an asset
  • Ability to train at all fitness levels
