We're looking for a dedicatedPermanent Full-Time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of semi-trucks and trailers. You'll also provide support to our heavy-duty mechanics on machinery repairs as needed.
Work Schedule: 6 am to 2pm, 40 hours per week, with occasional weekends as needed. Availability for on-call work is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repair on semi-trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty equipment.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and repair various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a heavy vehicle or commercial vehicle mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of semi-truck and trailer systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Good communication skills
- Commercial vehicle inspector ticket.
- Basic computer skills, words ,excel and outlook.

Under the supervision of the Garage Foreman, the Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of the company’s truck fleet. Your Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on trucks (oil changes, inspections, adjustments, lubrication, etc.).
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Repair or replace defective parts (brakes, suspensions, engines, transmissions, etc.).
- Complete work reports and inspection sheets.
- Follow workplace safety standards and shop procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Desired Profile
- Education : Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (or equivalent).
