Job DescriptionComplete deliveries and pick-ups in a timely manner in Cranbrook and the surrounding area. Pre and post-trip trucks and trailers. comply with ELD. Monday to Friday with some flexibility required.
Qualifications- Valid Class 1 license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial driving
- Physically fit and able to lift and handle heavy items
- Reliable and dependable with excellent time management skills
- TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are an asset
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in Cranbrook and surrounding areas
- Strong safety consciousness and adherence to all transportation regulations
- Proficient in using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting
