Purpose:
The HR & Recruitment Specialist is responsible for leading and driving full-cycle recruitment across the organization to support Lpine's growth and long-term talent needs. This role emphasizes a proactive and fast-paced approach, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality candidates for recurring roles, identifying individuals who could be long-term assets, and delivering an excellent candidate and manager experience that reflects company values. In periods of reduced recruitment activity, the Recruitment Specialist will support HR operations, including HRIS maintenance, onboarding, and responding to general HR inquiries.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, sourcing, pre-screens, interviews, assessments, offers, and onboarding coordination.
Partner with managers to understand staffing needs and anticipate future requirements.
Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring roles, ensuring the business is never starting from scratch.
Identify and engage high-potential candidates through the recruitment process, even if no immediate opening exists.
Leverage multiple sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach, and career fairs.
Promote employer branding through recruitment campaigns, collateral, and a strong community presence.
Streamline and continuously improve recruitment processes to ensure they are efficient, consistent, and candidate friendly.
Track and report on key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline health, turnover trends).
Assist in maintaining Dayforce (HRIS) with accurate and timely employee data entry.
Assist with benefits administration and employee records management.
Provide timely responses to general HR inquiries regarding policies, payroll, and systems.
Coordinate and facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees.
Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and communications.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR support.
Familiarity with HR systems (Dayforce or equivalent HRIS/ATS preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships at all levels.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring Resource
• Manage full cycle recruitment process including drafting and posting job ads, pre-screening calls, interview support, conducting background and reference checks; and offer letter preparation

The Program
We are seeking an HR Specialist to join our growing team in supporting the organizations mission by ensuring the effective recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support of staff. The HR team plays a key role in maintaining a positive employee experience, managing HR systems and documentation, and ensuring compliance with employment standards and internal policies. This program is essential to sustaining a healthy, inclusive, and well-supported workforce across CJHSs diverse service areas.
The Position
In this exciting new position, the HR Specialist is a key member of the Human Resources team, reporting to the HR Team Lead. The HR Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the processes and systems that support the Human Resources function at CJHS. This role is responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes, including scheduling interviews, preparing employee agreements, and managing digital signatures. The HR Specialist will maintain and update employee profiles in BambooHR, assist with help desk inquiries related to staff accounts, and ensure accurate uploading and tracking of onboarding, offboarding, and training documentation.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Administering employee leave of absence (LOA) requests and benefits.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and employment legislation.

Qualifications
